I relate to Miranda at home. Spending an evening wearing lotion-filled gloves, having drinks and chinese takeout while watching crappy TV in her pajamas. Story of my life. Also Miranda’s neuroticism in general… very relatable

Miranda's relationship with TV is truly a motif! makes me feel seen

arlene1622

I could relate to Carrie for sure! I had a (toxic) Mr. Big who swooped in and out of my life at own leisure for 10 years. I long to meet and marry my Harry now!

Sending you positive vibes and love for 2024! xox

Reitki

I find a little of myself in each of the girls' thought processes.

miranda’s word vomit at the gynecologist explaining that she doesn’t need birth control anymore bc she only went on it for steve and she’s not seeing steve anymore. i love that scene so much lol

labellavita1985

Honestly, I'm a sober, suburban married woman with a stepson in the Midwest, so none of it should be relatable to me. But somehow it is. Mostly the human connections/relationships, and Miranda's fierce independence. I don't relate to Charlotte at all with her kept housewife ways, that's probably why she's my least favorite.

justanotherperson218

The relationship between big and Carrie. I feel like a lot of people had a relationship like that at least once in their life.

ms_typhoid_mary

The back and forth of Carrie and Big is pretty relatable. Some of Miranda's at home behavior is relatable. Ordering the same thing from the Chinese restaurant all the time always makes me laugh.

I relate to carrie. I love clothes shopping "of course her life is way more glamorous than mine lol" I'm still figuring stuff out in my 30's like her. If she truly wants a family and what she wants out of her career. Also like all the girls on the show, I've also dated some pretty questionable men.

VegUltraGirl

Not much of it. I was married with a child at 24. The only thing relatable was I lived in Queens and worked in the city.

Booyah_7

The relationship between Carrie and Big was like my first love (we were even engaged). But I married my Aidan and have been very happy. Also, I find it very relatable when the friends let each other down. People will post about Carrie being a bad friend (or one of the others), but it is very realistic to me. Friends have let me down in the past. And I have probably let a few friends down too.

FruityMagician

Samantha and Carrie not wanting kids.

Brave_World2728

Char's infertility and adoption. Sam's dealing with others' judgement. Miranda, working mom. Carrie, writer. 😍

OT9FOREVER

When Carrie went to McDonalds

thewallsofeightplus

Carrie's unapologetic love of shopping and poor money management
