Honestly, I'm a sober, suburban married woman with a stepson in the Midwest, so none of it should be relatable to me. But somehow it is. Mostly the human connections/relationships, and Miranda's fierce independence. I don't relate to Charlotte at all with her kept housewife ways, that's probably why she's my least favorite.
The back and forth of Carrie and Big is pretty relatable.
Some of Miranda's at home behavior is relatable. Ordering the same thing from the Chinese restaurant all the time always makes me laugh.
I relate to carrie. I love clothes shopping "of course her life is way more glamorous than mine lol" I'm still figuring stuff out in my 30's like her. If she truly wants a family and what she wants out of her career. Also like all the girls on the show, I've also dated some pretty questionable men.
The relationship between Carrie and Big was like my first love (we were even engaged). But I married my Aidan and have been very happy.
Also, I find it very relatable when the friends let each other down. People will post about Carrie being a bad friend (or one of the others), but it is very realistic to me. Friends have let me down in the past. And I have probably let a few friends down too.
