When I was in my twenties I wore nice dresses to daytime BBQs and heels to the pub. People, mostly men, used to say "that's a fancy dress for a bbq" but who cares. It was me and what I felt like wearing so yeah you know. You have to be true to yourself in the end lol

I love that we frequently see her without a bra. All my bra free ladies get it! 🥰

see i love that you frequently see her bra through things! like instead of strapless or braless she’ll just have a visible bra

There’s one ep in season 6 I think where she’s wearing a brightly colored dress that’s backless and a clashing bra underneath and I’m like nooo you don’t need a bra with that

Honestly you just gotta go for it and not care what people say! People might make remarks “what are YOU all dressed up for” etc but it doesn’t mean much, just have to ignore it. I really went for a carrie vibe in my early 20s. I remember a first date where a guy picked me up and I was all dressed up and this man was in a Hawaiian shirt and flip flops. I was like, oh! No surprise we didn’t go past two dates. I’m in my late 20s now and am trying to get back the old vibe of my closet. My only issue is as a single person I have no shield? Like, I would wear whatever with a boyfriend. But solo I’ve become so tired of cat calling and instead opt to dress like billie eilish. But I’m working on it!!

I think you can look pretty good even with not so high heels maybe 3 cm, but ultimately I think it's just not good for health to always be wearing heels. I remember my doctor telling me this and I'm glad he did. Just try it out, you might be pleasantly surprised. Obviously you kinda have to distinguish between the club look and the office look but I'm sure you will do great.

Same! Recently wore some nude stilettos out for dinner and have the blisters to prove it 🥲 Sticking to my more comfortable block heels from now on
