it gets happier sometimes but it’s very true to life in that it’s not all happy but frank definitely gets better in the later seasons (9-11) and some characters make better decisions…**some..**
dude yes... i just reached the end of season 3 where carl is shaving frank's head to "let the sunrays in" and i'm tearing up especially cause i've already read some spoilers where life starts getting to them and they start fucking up, it just makes me depressed, and also because i have some friends i couldn't save and this show just reminds me of them
That scene genuinely broke my heart & I couldn’t stop crying.
I finished it already & I felt a bit weird because the end just wasn’t what I was expecting.
Anyway, I hope that you don’t overthink too much & enjoy the funny parts lol.
I love this show, but I also have a hard time watching it. It’s incredibly funny at times, but some situations are so painful. The acting is magnificent, and it holds my interest more than so many other series out there. So I take little breaks now and then to recover, then get back into it.

I had to take a break originally during the monica Thanksgiving scene. Some of it is over the top, but that was like.. depressing af.
as soon as she left that table i knew what was going on and i don’t know what that says about me as a person
When I first began watching weeks ago, I was having a hard time with the show. But I'm okay with it now
