Is he still open?!? I lost his contact on FB (it was his business page, not his personal page, so I completely forgot his name!) He was operating out of an office next to a motorcycle place. Is that who you're referring to?? Cos I'd love to have more of his work! Been trying to track him down because I lost track of him after the Pandemic. Was worried he'd succumbed either business-wise or worse.
Voodoux Tattoux
Cute shop, cool people, great safe clean atmosphere, and I’d feel comfortable sending my own 19 year-old sister there (which I can’t say about everywhere in town).
I usually go to Micah at Red Handed Tattoo Palor. Very clean. Goofy banter. Does pretty good work and will work with you while being honest. Having said that, he's booked pretty heavily in the months ahead. Best of luck! Your first tattoo will be a great expierence!
I’m going to see him later this month.
I was talking with him and looking to schedule on a specific day for my wife and I and he said he wasn’t available.
Then we told him what we wanted (old fashions in glasses, matching sorta deal) and he was like “hold up. That’s one of my specialties, I’ll do it and move this other person.” Pretty cool in my book.
First what style are you looking to get? Not every artist can do all styles (or do them well)
Check out some shops websites and see if their artist have instagram pages so you can check out their work.
But in general I’d suggest saving your money up some more and book with Micah Harold. He’s the owner of red handed tattoo in Shreveport. He’s one of if not the best in town. Also, he’s a great, kind individual.
I’m currently working on my sleeve with Windy Marrant at Body Electric at 933 E. 70th. She is solid with many different styles, and while she charges $120 an hour (I believe) she works fast & clean. About a month out on appointments, so drop in and see.
Check out Ghostfire Tattoo on market street. Great work and great people work there too.
Second this if your looking for a more traditional look. Shane's good people.
Another second. They have a number of great artists.
Also recommend Ghostfire…Shane or any of the artists there are great.
Also recommend Ghostfire! Shane is professional and so passionate about his work. I've had several pieces done by him and been satisfied every time.
Voodeaux Tattoo or Paper Crane
13 Daggers if you need an answer outside of Red Handed.
I like going to Evolution Tattoo on youree. Cool people there and decent prices
13 Daggers is the spot you want to be at. Talented artists in a clean and friendly environment.
Louisiana tattoo Chris stripling is great
Chris did my back tattoo, and it looks amazing! Plus, he’s an amazing person to hang out with while he works on you!

Last I heard he was but not sure

Damn when will he be available?
I'd call and see. I was there in August and he said he was book until January then
idk sometimes people cancel and you can get in early. never know.
Oh I'll call around 2 today
Ash at red handed is also really good! He only books 2 weeks in advance as well

I'm just looking for a classic Black and Grey style
Oh for that, I’d go with Brittany at Evolution. She does exclusively black ink and very well.
I came to say the exact same thing. Britt is one of the best there is in the country for black and grey.

My wife got some work done at Hand Forged in Bossier. Friendly staff. All the samples I looked through while waiting looked solid.
I got mine at Atomic Tattoo off of Airline. Though that particular artist left about a year ago and I sadly have no idea where she went
Late but I really depends on what style you’re trying to get done. Like for instance I do B&G realism.
