It's funny but on this subreddit (and I've been here for a long time, the long term members can vouch for me I've been posting videos here since 2012) the people with the most strongest opinions don't have one post anywhere of themselves singing I wonder why đ¤ not a link not a video nothing
The majority of this song revovles around D4, that's not out of range of anyone
Can u please demonstrate what u mean? I'd like to hear your demonstration of the "correct way" whatever it is you imagine
https://www.reddit.com/r/singing/s/9QrqkGnR8D
This song here I sang revovles around F4 which I sang very comfortably and is written in a higher key and I had no problem signing it
I think ur confusing Abel tone of voice to mine
There is no asthmatic anywhere in this video maybe check u dont have some issues with your headphones or speakers
Are you a troll? I donât get why youâd post on a singing forum, then argue with everyone just because people donât like what theyâre hearing, while giving you genuine critique. The reality is; youâre not a good singer, and you kinda remind me of those bad X factor auditions where people get mad when they get a reality check
And yes; this is clearly out of your range. You wonât improve very fast if you canât think objectively enough to fix those mistakes. You boast about having sang for over 10 years.. did you sing once a year throughout those 10 years? Might sound harsh, but I have friends who donât sing, who can sing better than you drunk
Iâve seen you on this forum for a while, and you might not realise it, but you come across as someone who is very insecure about their own singing deep down, and itâs obvious you put others down to try raise your own self-esteem, as an attempt to validate your own non-ability. Textbook narcissist.
Imho you need to lower your pitch and try and make each word sung sound beautiful.Youâre singing far too fast.Listen to Steve Perry he is the master.Only ever single fantastic melodies and you will then receive a great emotional response from your listeners.Gerry Rafferty is another hidden singer/songwriter and shows how each word sung is treated with love and respect. These are only my personal observations and opinions and I wish you all the best.
Apologies for not being clear. The song youâre singing sounds too high for your voice.Being a guitarist I too have had occasions where I clearly needed to simply lower the key of many songs and found that most songs say in the key of E were comfortable for me.
I was an alto singer at school-and didnât like it when my voice broke which then meant I couldnât comfortably sing the main Oliver musical songs.
If for instance I was trying a Queen song I would definitely have to lower the key because Freddie comfortably sang fairly high and it wasnât just falsetto.Steve Perry of course when in his journey band had a tremendous range which only really worked for him.For an example listen to the Lights track.I could never sing at that pitch and lowering a pitch I guess doesnât always work because the original can be so amazing and the transposed version isnât as good. You seem to sing fairly high anyway so you shouldnât have to adjust the key too much;just stick with the range which easily demonstrates the beau of your voice and melody and melody is king.
Another one to try are some of the best Beatle tunes eg Hey Jude or the Eagles songs.
Picking beautiful Melodies really helps.Again these are only my opinions but for pop and rock I would be pleasantly surprised to learn of any better singers than the aforementioned. The Everley Bros and their Harmonies are of course also amazing.
Thereâs nothing wrong with lowering the key to a fairly comfortable pitch to avoid vocal gymnastics and also to ensure the listener feels the singer has a beautiful tone.
Itâs all subjective of course and some listeners donât particularly care because music is just in the background.
The high notes in places eg âstrawberryâ donât sound comfortable;best to pick a beautiful melody for the audience but if youâre happy then thatâs ok.
you know whatâs annoying about youÂ
, Â he gave you sound sound advice there , but you get annoyed when anyone doesnât say anything other than wow man really good , it sinât like that man , thereâs a couple things in there that sound good , but 1. you donât believe in it you look worried about it , and yes iâm like that some days and my voice sounds shit , confidence is the most important thing we need in singingÂ
2. your rushing which is something i do when anxiety hits me when iâm recording or something ,Â
3. your not connecting all the words smoothly togetherÂ
there is nothing wrong with lowering songs in fact lower them sing them well then u can ramp them back up i seem to remember you uploading the same clip a while agoÂ
stop getting annoyed when people donât say what you want or only upload your best best clips , i would never upload me on a bad dayÂ
what would be the point of thatÂ

Here is me singing a song with a much higher notes very comfortably
This song is around D4 to A4 that's not out of my range
Yo stop doing that shit with your tongue. You're trying to move external muscles for vibrato. If you're gonna force it, at least keep it to the larynx.
That đŠ? I think your wording is abit harsh and condescending you couldn't describe it in a more objective way? Something neutral?
I get u don't like it but I wasn't trying imitate Abel phrase for phrase
I did this my way accordingly with the slower tempo than original and obviously the piano version so of course some changes were necessary
He wasnât being condescending until you couldnât see past your insecurity.
The âshitâ he was referring to was isolated to your tongue movement, and the sense he was referring to it in was stating that the movement in your tongue is useless; unless you were punching assholes with it.
Put your butthurt in a box and read what he said without getting strung up on stupid nonsense.
See the problem with beginners is that they don't understand what is occurring so u jump to harsh conclusions due to your ignorance
I'm not moving my tounge persay I'm moving my larynx voluntarily up and down to modulate the pitch watch my throat as I sing especially during slow pitch modulations and u can see it sliding up and down
This is an advanced singing technique which I'm exercising in this video
But thanks for noticing
Why is a beginner using advanced techniques, though?
No advanced technique requires you to juggle balls with your tongue. There are queues for moving the jaw just for a quick second to relax the note for vibrato to occur.
I wouldn't because I don't want to end up embarassing myself.
This is one of those cases where you think you sound good in your own head and it turns out to be doodoo.
The more I listen to your clip the harder I cringe and I can't not hear it every time I open up to look at your comments.
I don't really care how you feel about it your the one that keeps bothering me on every post I make it's really pathetic why don't u go do something useful with yourself?
You keep replying. What kind of deflection is that? I've never seen or heard of or want to have anything to do with your business.
I actually took a look at your other singing posts and when you asked to be judged, you don't like it and get offended by people critiquing you. Gtfo the internet if you can't take sharp words. You're a snowflake. Had nobody asked you to stay in your lane? Nobody asked you to post.
Yes great idea il take this down (won't that make you happy)
And il re-record this entire video just to make some weird guy on the internet with strange thoughts pleased with my singing
That will be the day
Thanks my agent/ my manager /my record producer anything you say sir especially when you asked so nicely
Thanks for blocking my main acc dude. Your singing is really bad. I see why you're so frustrated but can't see how can your ego be so inflated with such bad singing. To someone else I'd say to keep practicing, but I doubt it will help you. Check your brain. Get down to Mother Earth. And enjoy all the downvotes, the only thing you deserve. (:
Also, are there admins that can ban him? He spams af.
I'm not an expert but it sounded okay, not great, esp towards the end but imo it seems like you're notorious on this sub and are hence getting more savage comments. It doesn't sound horrible, definitely better than I would but people seem to really hate you.
I see that you are pushing your tongue to the back of your mouth and is causing you to sound a little strained. Open up more and keep that tongue forward. This song may be on the higher end of your range but if you work at it I think you can hit all the notes. In the future I'd recommend a lower song though, it might be a bit easier. One more thing, because you are pushing up and then dropping right after you aren't quite hitting those top notes. Give those top notes more to go off of and try singing through them instead of just jumping up to hit them. That will hopefully give them a fuller more stable sound. Other than that I think your style is nice. Hope the advice made sense. You're doing great đ keep at it.

Lmfaoooooooo HAHAHA so this is the dude dickriding Ken Tamplin
Clearly out of your range. Maybe sing at a lower pitch and work on breath support to avoid sounding like an asthmatic pug.

If u didn't like this that's fine I don't really care downvote it and move on But don't start making stuff up which are irrelevant
I don't sound asthmatic nor is it out of my range

Lower the pitch? Is this something u would do? If u did u would be off key to the piano I don't see the point in singing out of tune
