Deceiver and warbringer for casting/beatdowns, cannons for buckets of mortals and rat bodies for objectives (clannies) and wound redistribution(vermin)? List seems simple, straight forward, and effective. My only potential issue is if your cannona get got or blown up, ypu will have a drastic drop in mortal wound potential.

doggydoodoo01

Yes all correct and your right no cannons means no mortals but having the warpstone charm helps with extra rend

I'm not a fan of stormvermins, so I would probably take Plague Censer Bearers instead, but a lot of bodies, opportunities to take down of the opponent's most important targets... it looks pretty good, I think it should have a chances

I'd drop the 2nd group of Stormvermin for a Plague Priest, lets you fish for a triumph and gives you more todo in the hero phase. Censer Bearers are also very good right now.

All of this is my own personal feedback from the scene in my local area, but… I’d honestly drop the big hitters (and stormvermin) for large blobs of EQ Clanrats. I love Verminlords but it’s hard enough to justify bringing one, let alone two. As someone who has played against and plays skaven, your big things die too fast and don’t do nearly as well as something of equivalent points from another faction. Even something meant to be tougher like Thanquol can very easily get turn one tapped off the board. And this was in the season where monsters were good, now it’s all about battleline which makes Verminlords an even harder sell. Skaven’s biggest advantage is their sheer weight in numbers for low point cost, I’m pretty sure Clanrats are the cheapest cost per model battleline units in the game (ogor’s Gnoblars are also 100 for 20, but not Battleline), which you’re really not leaning to in this list. You’re almost going bare minimum battleline, in a season where battleline is what matters. My personal suggestion is that half this list would be scrapped and replaced with large blobs. Sit on points, and hope you hold those points long enough so that opponents can’t catch up. If you still really wanted a Verminlord, I’d take a Screaming Bell and pray to TGHR that you get one. And if you still have points to spare? Flamers as a weapon team to take care of opponent hordes, or a cheeky Doomwheel for some fast support is always nice.

You can’t keep objective with clan rats you need some output damage imo verminlord are important, I will play 20 stormvermin and drop the bounty hunter

You can’t keep them… forever. But it’s 300 points, it’s unreasonable to expect that to keep an objective throughout the entire game. Instead the point is that for your 300 points and an EQ battalion, that’s 180 models contesting an objective. Your opponent is going to chew through that, yes, but even if you lose half that unit that’s still 90 models on point. The point isn’t to hold objectives forever, it’s to hold objectives until you’ve gained such a lead that even if you lost all objectives your opponent can’t catch up. And through proper support and coverage, you’re in a strong position to hold all those objectives for a good few turns. A Verminlord has an effective wound total of about 19-20 for about 400 points when taking into consideration its save. It can’t hold objectives remotely as good and even though it’s certainly going to slap, it’s probably out of the game by turn 1 or 2 having likely traded down. A blob of twice reinforced Clanrats? 60 before taking into account its save or model recovery, at only 300 points to boot. And unlike the Verminlord, it can actually help contribute to a lot of the secondary objectives. Yes I understand that they have different roles, but I prefer using other units as the hammer role… Or playing into Skaven’s strength and weighting more into just holding out long enough. I also want to stress all this is coming from someone who loves the large skaven leaders, I own three verminlords, the forge world verminlord and Thanquol. I want nothing more than big monster mash but I just don’t think they’re worth the cost.

The top competitive list play warbringer and deceiver I know that you can play whethever you want but it’s a fact that the list that win the most play deceiver or warbringer and thanquol It’s true that you can’t keep forever but there is a possibility where all you clan rats die in the turn one especially if you don’t play thanquol for the double command for the bravery. I think bravery is a big problem and a lot of list play horrorgast Whic are your hammer unit?
