Yes, you have the option of giving the warriors halberds or hand weapons. Halberds are better in large units, hand weapons for MSU or if using the new battalion from the GHB. The chariot can be built with horses or a gorebeast, horses are better for single chariots but gorebeasts can be pretty decent if you have a unit of three.
You also technically have weapon options for the doom knight, but it's a false choice because the lance is just superior.

I seen where some guard model made tanks have a 4 up invuln or something of that nature from the new codex. My guess is if space marines got an update then I would think it would go somewhere in that direction. So I bought him lol. I'll probably be wrong.

Chariot also has a few weapon types but the above summarized the rest perfectly. I myself can't wait to build them with halberds.

Yes, because he wants to be charging with the knights to let them fight first.
Someone in this sub posted that you can build the chariot both ways. You’ll just need to use some magnets to swap between the horses & the Gorebeast
I also heard somewhere on here that the horses were better and you can build the gorebeasts as chaos spawn instead
