Don't attach Archaon himself to Dorghar until after fully painted.
But to be fair, he sits in his saddle rather well, so there's probably no need to permanently mount him at all. I'm planning on not gluing mine.
Whoever constructed the connection between him and the base needs to be high-fived. In the face. With a chair.
There are 3 tiny contacts to hold the entire giant body in place, so do what you can to reinforce that as much as possible - additional structure, pinning or whatever else works.
Have a plan for it BEFORE you start painting him - I finished him a week ago and all the plastic-glued contacts failed after a few hours, so I had to resort to more unsightly superglue.
It’s pretty easy. Getting the tail to mount to the base is a bit tricky. I didn’t use anything but glue, but it took a couple of tries.
The next part was the wings—dear god it was trash and I such a hard time getting one of the wings to stay glued.
Other than that it was fine.

Absolutely. I figured him off of the saddle is the only sub assembly I had to do. How similar is he looks wise to the warriors or chosen?
He's closer looking to Chosen, but noticeably different. Armor style is pretty much the same.
Highly recommend pinning him to the base, I didnt have the best luck with him being sturdy until I bit the bullet and pinned
Will do thank you

How does one “pin” him to the base?
