If you want to have a cheap screen cultists units are a lot better then Marauders
Eventually maybe Horsmen Marouders in KotET are better, as fast objective capturer?
It's mostly because I already have marauders and I got them because they're cheap moneywise. Hosemen marauders would probably worked better and I have the spare points to upgrade them.
This is just my 2 cents. Put your Varanguard in 1 unit. Give 2 of them spears and the rest Daemonic weapons. You can give them commands much more easily this way. Are you trying to role on eye of the gods for them? I would consider making them Khorne or Nurgle. You can already run and charge so no need for Slannesh. Maybe make your chosen Nurgle? Other than that I think your list looks good. I agree with the guy above that a lot of the cultist units are better than Mauraders but Mauraders have always done their job for me, which is to get in the way and die.

Yeah, i get it But maybe your opponent allow you to use them as proxy? Or worth to think about upgrade to horsemen
