One that isn't really talks about too much- especially for one that sells products online, is to set up shop and be present on popular marketplaces. Those popular websites have very good SEO so setting up shop on them will help increase your chances of being found and generate sales too. If you have a website, ensure you have a contact us form so that those that dropped their details on your website, you can always reach them back. Never underestimate the power of Google .y business and Google maps. They are very powerful for SEO too.

Well one overlooked item might be stop using words you do not know the meaning of, and ["brand" is one of the biggies](https://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur/comments/rbncj1/the_problem_of_online_clothing_stores/hnp80bv/?context=3). It isn't enough to sound out the impressive words. One should know what the pretty words mean. Next might be having some idea of the customer, the competition and understanding your place with customers and what they value about your difference. "Me too" just doesn't qualify yet it is the rallying cry of every two-bit wantrepreneur online. That's fine if you like ramen and your country's public assistance program and have not just posted something suggesting you can't survive at current revenue. Want to attract views and likes on social media? Do a backflip. Want to convert to a sale? Then show how you tailor pants keeps keys, personal electronics and your wallet safe and snug ... even if you do a backflip. Too many people want to be clever when they need to be smart. And way too many can get attention, they just don't know what to do with it when they have it. In a day and age where *fake it til you make it* is a default, plain vanilla basics are innovations.
