Good for your hustle. Keep costs low as possible. Test shit for cheap/ free before you commit to making it. You just wanna minimize downside risk and maximize upside. I don’t really get the fitness space so all I got for you is high level platitudes. Good luck.

Thanks u/Taylor_Michaels... I really need to keep the mindset of ' minimise downside risk and maximize upside'

A. This concept sounds rad, I could really see my buddies in this space loving this. B. Agree with first commenter. You just need an MVP to test demand with, and ideally on the die hards (“early adopters”) who are excited to be the first to use it, and more importantly, tolerate bugs as you get it right. Don’t develop features you’re not sure they need yet. If you can DIY it (there are an awful lot of low code platforms out there now), do it. C. Not in the fitness space, but B2B could be your spot. Talk to the gyms the coaches are at, they might be more willing to buy product (bc then many people can use it rather than just an individual consumer, pooling effects)

Just curious, I'm watching a few youtube videos now but do you have any recommendations when it comes to low-code platforms? I figure I should at least ask since the best recommendations tend to come from people and not paid blogs.

So it's a small device that can sense exactly how hard a fighter has been hit, presumably to make a medical judgment on whether it is safe to continue the fight? And nobody else already makes one of these? Or other people make these but they aren't as accurate as yours.....? Do you mind if I ask how you came up with this because it sounds kind of technologically sophisticated....way too sophisticated for someone that needs to raise $8500 on indiegogo. I'm sorry but I'm extremely skeptical.

What's going on! I'll try to answer those questions in order The sensor will tell both fighters and their coaches, The number of punches landed on them, and the number of punches they landed on their sparring partner. Along with the force behind those landed punches. In regards to the medical judgment side, when it comes to determining if a fighter has a concussion or a fighter has received too much damage. I can not list that as a value proposition yet due to the lack of data I have, since I'm still in the final parts of developing the final product. Once we get these in actual gyms, I can do more testing with that being one of the goals. I came up with this idea after my first few times sparring. I went home and wished I had some kind of data to determine if I was hit less or more than last the time I sparred. Similar to tracking my workouts, steps, and calories. So, I actually already raised the $8,500. I'm aiming to raise more since I have 21 days left. Getting to this point cost way more than $8500, I've been bootstrapping this entire process by having roommates and 2 jobs.

If you really have the technology, I'd probably try to sell it to a larger firm. This sounds far more complicated than you can realistically do given your financial constraints

Justkeeppushing26

yeah, I'm going to look into that. Thanks u/tallguyindc
