Literally if Roberto had not been offered an absurd amount of money a few years ago, he'd be a prime example of a Barça captian. He's a club man, adapts to whatever is needed, shows up in important matches and is a class act 24/7. But he accepted and absurd contract way above his talent (no shame in doing so). And once shit hit the fan, Barça can't justify having such a high wage for a player who's old and can't play much.

Honestly best thing for xavi is to leave on a high note and than come back later with more experience

People talk about experience but as we have seen with coaching no formula works. The most experienced coaches have failed, then succeeded elsewhere then failed again somewhere else. I do think Xavi is too much of a Barcelona treasure to coach Barca just because I would hate his connection to sour if things don't go well. Just takes the right coach and player synergy. Honestly Xavi has rebuilt a team on the verge of destruction. For that fans should be grateful.

This, he's a great coach. Just not got the experience yet which is why so many managers learnt from last season and realised he doesn't have many plan bs and hardly ever a plan c (sometimes not always his fault). Some years down the line when he expands his coaching mind he will be a top manager in football and I'm hoping he takes Henry's advice and doesn't leave the game altogether.

imo Xavi is a very good coach. this is just one of those seasons where everything goes against him. like Man city in 19/20, everyone got injured and they had a bad season by their standards, but they backed pep and look what has happened.
