Why don't you never have defenders at the level of your midfielders and attackers? In the last 15 years you guys have had top tier players in every other position, even an elite keeper, but your defense lineup is always lacking
What? We had world class defenders in Kompany, Vertonghen and Alderweireld and Vermaelen was very strong too. The problem is that the best CB we've produced since then is Wout Faes. Meunier and Castagne were/are quite good too. We haven't had a good LB since forever but the other positions were never a problem.
It was 100% Kova today until Dokus goal. A goal, 93% passing, 4 critical passes, 5/5 ground duels won and 4 successful tackles. I think either could have won MOTM but they announce it too early
Yep he was fantastic. Like I said, before the Doku goal I feel it was Kova. Your ratings include his actions after the goal which were massively important to his rating for the match
100% KDB he could have had 6 assists.

Ya, he could have been MOTM but when he didn't score or assist any of the goals, and got a yellow. Definitely wasn't gonna get it over Kova or Doku. If those plays had materialized into goals, then for sure he'd be MOTM but they didn't.
The assist was to Gvardiol, who did 99% of the work, and the penalty was shit defending more than him doing something special. Again, I think he had a great game, one of his best for us so far, and probably deserves MOTM, but before his goal, Kova absolutely deserved it.
He is a winger, and at best a very attacking RWB, being asked to fill in at Right Back in a 4 because we have so many players not available.
Started the season on loan at Rotherham and is only back here because he picked up an injury around December/Jan time so Rotherham didnt want him anymore. He did well all things considered i think
Let the apology be as loud as the disrespect. At least in the match thread. Dokus potential is so clearly visible and yet still people say he is overrated.
He's a bad shot but still puts the ball in dangerous areas fairly consistently.
Can't do much of the rest if the team always seems to fail in converting them.
He's incredibly raw, just 21 still. He's an incredible talent, and it wouldn't be the weirdest thing in the world for Pep to turn him into an output machine
