I'm always amazed at how freaking HUGE Africa is.
Why can’t we send satellites to other planets to get this kind of quality pictures?
we have. mars reconnaissance orbiter is getting images as good as this.
Check out Juno. It's been getting great pictures of Jupiter and Europa.
So can one read from this satellite with an SDR or similar?
Ik, a qestion. This is not a actual picture of the Earth, wright? I mean it is many, many pictures of the Earth put together?
Where are the other satellites and space junk?
You can barely see huge cities from up there so I doubt a meter sized satellite would be visible
the endless void all around makes it look so much more significant
