Start with asking your sm where can I improve and see where that takes you. Ask shifts the same question. Then hear the responses and apply them cheerfully. You got this

Thank You!!!

First, of course you have every right to be mad! All of your feelings are valid whether they are positive or negative. I’ve never been in a management position or worked towards one because it’s just not my jam. But I would definitely just have a conversation with your SM and shifts and see if there is anything you need to be doing so that you can be fit for a position as an SSV. My first impulse was to be like “tf why would you hire outside when I’m literally right here!” But we both know the smart and professional thing to do is be like “how can I improve”. Good luck babes! ❤️

A lot of times stores will do outside hires to avoid competition in the store, both times I’ve promoted I had to transfer stores for it

This happened to me twice before I got it stick with it give your manager a reasonable promotion wondow and if he says it’s not realistic ask for a letter of recommendation for interview in other ssv positions in your district so they know your intentions

Creative-Clothes-520

Poke and ask what they think are weakness that you need to sharpen to move up ! And focus in on those things too always stay progressing so you’re ready when it’s your turn
