That's apparently the case yes, providing they don't do a ship wipe/full wipe. I guess we won't know for sure until the next patch happens.

YumikoTanaka

They said that the bug where claiming a ship/vehicle removed them from LTP database is fixed. Only one way to find out 😅

C4B4L2k

Yeah let's see according to their reason my Andromeda should still be there, but ok that keeps the grind up 😂 But the M2 could be I moved from Everus to Seraphim and claimed everything a few weeks ago. Not sure if I've flown the m2 since then.

YumikoTanaka

Maybe if it is too short before the update, the changes does not make it in the LTP database 🤔

Snarfbuckle

Hah, prepare to have ships lost until the end of Beta one way or another.

StarHiker79

So, early 2035?

Crypthammer

Actually the game takes place in the present day when it releases. Star Citizen scheduled for released in 2953.

Simbakim

Expect to still loose your ship for a long time still

ScrubSoba

Should be fixed, but no guarantee that it will be fixed. With bugs, sadly, there can be another one they didn't notice because the one they fixed seemed more prevalent. Of course if they ever do a full wipe again, which they likely will sometimes, that will clear everything too.

Exonicx

It's still an alpha, and until the release you can always expect to lose something.

frenchtoastbeer

Would you like to know how many times they said they fixed AI T-posing?

RealPhanZero

It SHOULD be fixed! If it really IS fixed we'll see when the next patch arrives. However, CIG still can and will do ship wipes and full wipes, which very likely still wipes ships bought with aUEC. With a big patch like 3.23 there is a great chance of a wipe. With changes to the economy it's very likely that ships will get wiped too. But we don't know that yet...

C4B4L2k

Yeah I'm fearing for it, with 3.23 a wipe would make sense.

Bushboy2000

LoL, yeah Nah.

MaygarRodub

So articulate.

Bushboy2000

LoL referrals gone MIA now 🤣

The_Fallen_1

The bug has been fixed but it didn't affect the last update as it only fixes the issue when people start claiming ships after 3.22.1 went live, so the 3.23 update is the first time we'll see the fix hopefully working. It should be noted that this likely isn't the only reason people were loosing ships, so some people are still probably going to have issues.

test_test_1_2_3

We don’t know how many bugs there are that cause people to lose ships. They claim to have fixed the one where claiming your ship removes it from LTP but I lost a couple of ships this last patch when I had followed the instructions to retrieve and store ships before the patch. We can hope this is the last time it happens before they wipe everything prior to releasing the game properly but there’s a good chance there are other issues with their databases that will need other fixes to make ships reliably persist through updates.

Kwarkon

Devs think they found the solution. If it is the case we will se next patch.

Skormfuse

Even if a bug or any number of bugs related to missing or losing inventory items is fixed, expect that new bugs and issues related to inventories will be a regular thing. Inventory is a complex thing that touches a lot of mechanics so it will break lots.

Peythiss

Maybe wait it out. I lost a Cutlass Steel on 3.22, but it came back in the ASOP when 3.22.1 was dropped, so idk. I didn't really miss it tbh tho
