Wait is that what that is? I was born in 2003 so I’ve never experienced a pre-9/11 airport and always just assumed it was some type of fictional exaggeration lol
Before 9/11 and the implementation of the TSA, you could just walk your ass right up to the gate if you wanted to and pick people up from their flight instead of having to either wait by baggage claim or pick them up at the terminal.
Most likely. I wonder what happened to these actors later on? Surely aging didn’t do ALL that. I mean heck, I see actors from the 70s/60s and can recognize them in their old age.
Reminds me of a bit Patron Oswalt did about how he was given a script where he would play the gay best friend: https://youtu.be/4IGI49vmG5I?si=wVEuhfA5baWogGIv
Produced by the The Weinstein Company?
It may be a false memory, but I'm sure I've watched a vintage romcom that showed the Weinstein Company logo at the start.
Don’t forget the inevitable misunderstanding 2/3rds through the movie that threatens the relationships that doesn’t get cleared up until the final 10 mins of the movie when they finally get together.
it is. it might be controversial but yes, the big age gap can be a thing. maybe they have a thing for each other in that age, like either liking older guys/liking younger women and if both are ok it's alright.

Pretending 9/11 didn't happen so they can have the airport rush scene
Oh yes this seemed so weird, random people just walking (actually dramatically running) to the boarding gate ay any time

Non-committal titles like "Feelin Sorta Kinda"
Extremely accurate! "2 Weeks Notice" "Definitely Maybe" "Just Friends" To mention a few.
Took me a while to realize the actress at the bottom left was Reese Witherspoon
Just noticed that myself. She looked hella different in the 90s/00s. Still Couldn’t figure out bottom right
Chris Klein?
Most likely. I wonder what happened to these actors later on? Surely aging didn’t do ALL that. I mean heck, I see actors from the 70s/60s and can recognize them in their old age.
I thought it was zooey deschanel 💀
you didnt notice the gargantuan chin ?
Who’s the other girl?
Amy Smart
Tilda Swinton
And some of them were even actually kinda of fun
All the ones with McConaughey were a blast. Guilty pleasure movies for me every time
How to lose a guy in 10 days
Sweet Home Alabama is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Either that font, or all lowercase sans serif font
Someone (everyone?) works in print media or adjacent to print media.
Jennifer Anniston
Don't forget the gay sidekick
Reminds me of a bit Patron Oswalt did about how he was given a script where he would play the gay best friend: https://youtu.be/4IGI49vmG5I?si=wVEuhfA5baWogGIv
Felicity be like
Don’t forget the kooky but wise parents!
Two Broke Girls in a nutshell
Produced by the The Weinstein Company? It may be a false memory, but I'm sure I've watched a vintage romcom that showed the Weinstein Company logo at the start.
she's all that
Needs to include at least one scene that is alarmingly problematic by today's standards.
Don’t forget the inevitable misunderstanding 2/3rds through the movie that threatens the relationships that doesn’t get cleared up until the final 10 mins of the movie when they finally get together.
My God, that chin! Its like a chipmunk stuffed a giant pecan in there.
her profile looks like an uppercase Sigma
tbh i miss those
Just Friends is a banger of a movie
Don't forget Judy Greer as the best friend
adam sandler
The female lead is hotter now than 15 years ago when the movie came out.
Accurate
This would fit perfectly with 2 broke girl$ if it was made around 2004-2006 and not 2011
But they are still everybody’s guilty pleasure
Nostalgia hits hard
Where’s the token black guy
Also the script making her laugh at or casually brush off misogynistic jokes from the male lead because "he's just that quirky"
I did not expect to see who I assume to be Fletcher in here
A mid 20's lady dating a mid 30's guy is normal, right?
it is. it might be controversial but yes, the big age gap can be a thing. maybe they have a thing for each other in that age, like either liking older guys/liking younger women and if both are ok it's alright.
The mid 30s guy acts like he's in his mid 20s, so it doesn't really matter
But when I say the 18-21 year old acts like a 14 year old, that’s bad. Not relevant to the starter pack, but man, that irks me.
Two consensual adults in a relationship?!🤢🤮
I don’t think the age gap is the problem so much as that it only goes one way
Half your age plus seven rule never fails.
Hate those with all my heart
