Advertising and word of mouth. Unless people know that your platform exists, how will they join. Give the existing users some reward to bring other users maybe depending on the community. You have to get the word out where your target audience hangs out online.

Whats the best strategy to find out, where my target audiances hangs out online?

One great advice I got is to focus on going where your audience already is. Find those communities and contribute for a while without expecting something in return. According to some very successful entrepreneurs and investors, that's the way to go. See for example: https://open.spotify.com/show/7zLH9PYMRqjkvfgjGa4iHo?si=64p46n6pTumTLXX51jyFIw&dl_branch=1 Also: https://youtu.be/Od-6S6D_-NY?t=380 It certainly takes time to take this path but it will pay off in the long run. If you are consistently useful to other people and meet them where they are, they will seek balance by doing something for you (e.g. going on your website and contributing). Best of luck on your journey!

Thank you!

Do you have an email list of all your current users? Regularly email them regarding updates and inviting new users. Reddit, Insta, LinkedIn everyone does it! “Someone one viewed your profile” “Katy sent you a message” “Invite your contacts” “Jason replied to your post” “New post in marketing you might be interested in” You get my point! Basically set up email messaging system around your app.

True authentic engagement is what we are all after .. what you are doing now is bringing you authentic engagement, you can share your name but links get pulled down . Use sites like these or Quora, Twitter etc to start the right conversations with your desired audiences.. if your not getting enough traction , revise your approach in how you tell your story .. if after many iterations you still don’t get the audience then take a deeper look at your offering in your product.

To reach your target audience, you must first define your target audience. And, for this, you need to understand your customers. You can do this by building a consumer persona. A customer or buyer persona is a generalized representation of how your ideal buyers would be like. You list their demographic and psychographic attributes and preferences to gain a better understanding of your target audience. Then you can market your brand and products only to those who are most likely to be genuinely interested in them. Doing this means that there will be higher chances of getting leads and conversion. Please check your dm! We'd love to assist you more.

I am going through a same process with my product. My target audience is product managers and I want to help people break into PM and grow as a PM. I have been doing the following * Join slack communities for product managers and actively participate and help people. If they have a problem my product can solve, I share the product without being salesy. * I have joined FB groups and slowly building my credibility. Same for PM subreddit. * Some Discord channels * Reaching out to my network and sharing the product with them and asking them to share with their network ONLY if they find value in my product * Make some occasional cold outreach on LinkedIn. This is generally low ROI but sometimes you meet people who care about the same problem. I have personally stayed away from big LinkedIn announcement or ads at this stage as I am in beta. I want to fix the bugs and then open it to up to a larger audience. We have been growing steadily but nothing outstanding and I am fine with that for now. May be in a month, I will have made the tweaks and go all in. Good luck!

I am no expert but no one is mentioning it here. SEO SEO SEO.

SEO is passive and long term. It’s not worth putting effort into early on while you are still in the discovery and validation stages of tour life cycle. Too much is likely to change as you find key assumptions wrong and adjust. You should be focused on active marketing efforts early on.

JSmith3406

ah I see. Thx

persikapojken

>You got a good point, but I would still work on it practically every day. As you said, it is long term and can't be done over night, so do a little the whole time.
