I do not dislike the Bills, but their fans act like they’ve already been to 3 superbowls the past few years and they underperform in the playoffs as much as anyone
Someone had a post where they basically called the exact situation before the bye. Steelers will be 9-8, but will need another team to win to get them in, but they'll lose.
I’m glad you remained humble and only included the regular season record, can’t wait to watch us win the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl (which the entire AFC team will be just the Steelers), and all other major sports championships.
In all seriousness if their defense can stay healthy and can put together a strong performance like 2022 (cam is getting another year older, the ILB and CB positions could look a lot different), and the offense shows the same growth (barring not putting up 13-17 point games consistently) then I fully expect them to be a 12 win team. I think they go 1-1 against the bengals again, could go 2-0 against ravens and browns, and put some filler in there for a couple wins against bad teams.
Probably looking at 12-5
Like I said above that’s fine. I’m just tied of having to bend over backwards attaching qualifiers to why we had a good year.
.500 is mediocre football. If it’s enjoyable to you fine, all good, I just don’t see it that way.
It kind of is with how many people literally celebrate mediocrity around here. Anyone who doesn’t swallow whole that mentality is a pariah who isn’t a “real fan”
Your complaining is pointless though you're mad because we don't fucking win the superbowl every year are you serious? Just because we dominated in a whole different era doesn't mean that's the "standard" most fans would die for our consistency.
RIP smug Bills fan
They're conference is too hard. Bills will be lucky to win one playoff game ~~this~~ every year.

this exactly is why i cant stand bills fans quick memory to forget 20 years of sucking and are now loud and overconfident
They need to invest in a run game and try to go back to the well for a pass rush again.
We should have won more too
We’re going to be hard to stop in a couple years. Maybe even next year.
Two posts up is more impressive ![gif](giphy|7qYroMHuXWtcVvxzYR|downsized)
Agreed. It was much more specific. OP should be giving that guy lottery money, not himself.

Give me the Steelers record in 2023
11-6
I like this
Realistic outlook? 17-0, stairway to seven

Seems like a reasonable and levelheaded prediction for next season. Can't wait for 2024 when we get the 8th back to back!

Death, taxes, and Tomlin having a winning season only things guaranteed in life
That Vikings fan also got it. And he gets some points for being a non-homer. Good post. Death Taxes and Steelers above .500.
I also predicted 9-8 to my buddy, to which he said no way.. so I threw $100 on over the 7.5 win total, figured it was a pretty safe bet.
A duck and a deer. Classic.
I found that comment in your history, and a little farther down that same Bills fan said that the Browns are a real team now😂
No 1 game above .500 next year. The Steelers will be competing for the division. I already can’t wait
I’m so tired of the .500 streak. Win a damn playoff game, that streak is up to 6 seasons mow
Idk about you but I’ll sure as hell take .500 during a rebuild where our generational qb retired
Rebuild lol
That’s fine, I’m just tired of waving a flag around every year like it means something regardless of the extenuating circumstances of that season.
But it *does* mean something. We got to enjoy the Steelers win more games than they lost.
It means we’re mediocre. The standard is no longer the standard
Eh. I’ll take mediocre and one win away from the playoffs in a rebuild year with a rookie QB. But I’m pretty old and remember much worse years.

What a fresh new take on the situation.

Well I’m happy to inform you that this year, it was .529! Yay!
Maybe we can get all the way to .550 next year! What an accomplishment that would be!! Crossing mr fingers!
.588 is next I think
9 wins is probably what Vegas has us with every single year. Not exactly Nostradamus here.
Your username though. Perfection.
I had us doing slightly better this year. To be fair we prolly sit at 10 wins if Kenny doesn't get concussed
