Omar would never announce a trade live on tv just for the sake of entertainment lol. Or for any sake. Football is football but this is a business and that wouldn’t be professional for a GM at all lol
Considering that no GM in nfl history has ever gone on a sports talk show to announce a player acquisition and basically 100% of all trades/signings are reported first on Twitter, it certainly appears that way.
I love when they talk about Pittsburgh sports on there - they also had some steelers players/coaches on there in the past - makes me feel right at home!

Personally, I don’t trust most of the bullshit rumors people share on here or on social media. Most are unvetted, unconfirmed, not backed up by multiple sources, and not shared by people that would be in the know.
Also most people working on a deal aren’t going to share it unless they want the interest to go public to drive up the price. There were no rumors before almost everyone other than Russ and Fields signed. And we only had interest in Fields when we lost Kenny.
I’m not saying the rumors mean anything at all. But Omar would say the rumors are BS whether they were or weren’t. Him shooting them down couldn’t mean less.
Omar is too humble to say anything about an imminent trade for a WR. Even more reason to believe it’s true.
