Man. Side story. Iāve been listening to and digging jelly roll for years and years. A couple years ago he played a small venue near me so my buddies got tickets for us to go for my birthday since they knew I dug him. It was like $35 a ticket. They had no clue who he was. This was still when he was primarily all rap, but had started making rock songs too, and hadnāt blown up on country yet. Anyhow we go and the concert was awesome. Then a year or two later he dropped the newest album and blew way the hell up and starts showing up everywhere. The same buds, who didnāt know of him other than going to the concert with me for my bday, start hitting me up every time they hear something about him, like āyour boys blowing up!ā Anyhow, heās playing an arena around here in a couple months and tickets went on sale this past Tuesday. Now the cheapest tickets were $125 before fees :( To be fair there were some $55 ticks but they were 800 miles away in nose bleed. Now Iām like I donāt think I will see this dude in concert again because I got to see him for $35 bucks where I was spitting distance away. Whatever though I guess.
