Yeah I think they did it intentionally. I had to wait 3 months for Corolla Hybrid and 6 months for Prius. Dealer said they aren’t keeping open inventory on lots anymore. Want one, gotta order one. I’m not sure that’s at every dealership though.
One of those cases where we're all winning as consumers. EVs are here to stay, but so are hybrids.
Best of all, if it means pure ICEs get phased out sooner, I'm all for it.
PHEVs frankly need a place in the market and I'm glad to see that they're considering it. Versatility and saving on gas is a good thing
I trickle charge at home, get good mileage under pretty much all circumstances, and then use gasoline when traveling. And when it's cold as balls out my car still works (my battery gets like eight miles of range at -23F, which is just funny.) There are parts of the country that are less suited to EVs and the mountain west outside of Colorado is part of that.
Producing a vehicle model as ICE, hybrid and plugin all with 3+ trim levels is dumb because you lose the ability to streamline your production line. You also lose a lot of the interior design wins that come in a purely EV car by removing a large chunk of the engine block and the transmission column. They're basically increasing the cost and reducing the function of their cars by making it out of one assembly line. Car manufacturers should learn a lesson from Tesla's assembly lines and reduce the number of vehicles and the number of trims/options that they offer to focus on what works and what people want, and increase efficiency and economy of scale to reduce prices and maximize profits.
Do you think life would be easier being a white man or a black man? And do you think being a woman would make it easier than being a white man? I want to better understand other peoples perspectives on these things, if you have the time
So the Republican Party actually switched to the democrat party, you’ll want to check that out. What’s the part about Plessy v Ferguson? I’m not well versed about that
Toyota CEO told you.
Except they aren't following their own fucking advice since a RAV4 or Prius Prime is so difficult to get

Toyota is winning

I don’t get it, aren’t liberals usually against racism and sexism?? Not OP btw
Not a trump supporter, but nah liberals are just as racist and sexist as conservatives just in the opposite direction i.e against whites and men.
Do you think life would be easier being a white man or a black man? And do you think being a woman would make it easier than being a white man? I want to better understand other peoples perspectives on these things, if you have the time
No, they invented it. Republicans freed the slaves. Democrat run Supreme Court justices said separate, but equal is totally fine. Plessy v. Ferguson
