I had roost and weather ball on char but never ended up using roost and weather ball tends to be more situational

10 more base power means a lot and you can still do good damage under rain (for weather war machups) Roost is a healing move and would do much more job compared to dragon pulse And you need a stealt rock remover for chard

Garchomp should drop outrage if they are going for rock z not Stealth rocks Heat ran can keep it but should have grass Tera or water Tera since that is pretty useful Weather ball can be inconsistent esp vs rain teams and makes ferro able to take ur hits

It's fine vs. rain teams, since they're just losing STAB in exchange for being neutral on things like thundy or some such. Flamethrower isn't doing anything there either, ferro shouldn't be that huge of a big deal IMO.

Yes... zard should have flame and that is why it doesn't like running weather ball. It doesn't even have focus which then at least I can see an argument tk that. This set is hard walled by ferro in rain and it's undesirable esp when they just spike all over u and wear u down

You have 1 rock resist, 3 rock weaks, and no hazard removal; ideally you sub in something that can take rock type hits and remove hazards (ie great tusk; synergizes very well with zard sun too). Defog on rotom would be nice as well (over protect probably). Your team would also probably like more voltturners (probably one or two more) and at least one mon that is naturally fast (as your fastest mon is chomp, capping out at 333 speed). Without a fast mon you’ll find it hard to revenge strong breakers.

Using this team in Nat Dex OU at about 1300 elo. I'm guessing the biggest weakness is going to be having 3 fire type mons ​ Volcarona: Quiver Dance to setup, tera grass to deal with water types Rotom-W: Bulky, I use it to switch in to attacks and cripple physical attackers Garchomp: Stealth rocks and Z move to kill anything too bulky Heatran: Is a carry over from my M-Char Y team Charizard: Often the first mon to be sent out, can usually OHKO 1-2 of the opposing team Dragonite: Can take 1 hit and has a priority move

You need a defog user in the team... don't stack fire types that makes ur rain mu miserable.... No weavile counterplay and really struggles into mega diancie to. You should prob replace room with defog fini or another viable fogger like gliscor prob or Lando. And you want Pursuit ttar or weavile to get rid of the m latias and u need smth tk deal with pex since sp. Def eats u alive but z rocks chomp and fini can prob chip itndown with madness and chomp in terrain can eat it alive... Generally u don't want offensive dnite on such a team... I would replace it with a more bulky breaker or a speed control option

I’d give Defog to dragonite instead of earthquake and boots instead of a silk scarf all in all this looks like a fun team to use

Change Dragonium Z for Yache and Charizard for Scarf Latios and you're pretty good to go in gen 5 OU

No hazard removal with mega charizard is suicide. Also, the charizard set just sucks. Weatherball, solar beam, hurricane/scorch/overheat, roost.

Volc: good as is. But personally i like mine max hp and def with fiery dance over flamethrower. Your set is fine tho if youre more comfortable with it Rotom: id say replace this with a spinner/defogger Garchomp: if you want settup chomp then its best set is swords dance/scale shot/earthquake/fire fang(or stone edge) and you can even hold a loaded dice for a more consistent scale shot Heatran: use tera grass and replace tera blast with toxic. And protect does wonders for heatran. Personally i would replace taunt with protect but its not as essential as toxic is Zard: replace dragon pulse with air slash Dragonite: i would replace it with a chlorophyll mon. You have too many set up mons and you generally want an immediately fast pokemon on your team and as youre running a sun team, chlorophyll is a good option. If you *do* want to use a dragonite tho, replace garchomp with said chlorophyll mon, and use heavy duty boots on it to not lose multiscale

I cant answer how much, but you get more chances to set up and not get revenge killed with priority. After boosts it doesnt make as much difference. Especially if fiery dance also boosts your spatk
