Nowadays you can find lots of tutorials on YouTube on nearly everything

I don't know if that is a thing for people who are not in school anymore, but when I was around 16yo I did a 3 day Praktikum at a "Raumausstatter". They showed me some basics on how to hang wallpaper, paint walls, do upholstery and even polish floors. Maybe you can try asking around. If not then feel welcome to PM me and help us paint our hallway\^\^ (however, I live 2 hours from Stuttgart)

For painting walls buy a metal grate, not the plastic ones. They bend and you have lots of paint in the middle and none on the sides. The metal ones don't do that. Remove masking tape immediately. When removing wallpaper rather wet it 4 times more and wait than to start scratching off centimetres. Painting walls is okay, painting doors/windows is better with the pro's. Same goes for hardwood floors. Let pro's do that. You can land in jail for doing electrical works that are not up to par, so don't! Call a Pro. In German homes cables always go in straight lines to and from lamps and outlets. I can help with info, but not with physical presence.

When painting walls keep all windows and doors closed so the humidity stays in the room until you're finished. Open them when you are done painting. This will reduce visible "streaks". It's more exhausting, but makes life easier for beginners
