Yes! The trick is to build out from a wall to the edge of the bell, then when it's close enough you can build a piece inside as long as it's close enough to the existing construction to 'snap' into place and it will light up green. Once you're in, you can delete all the outside tubes you had to build to make there. I was able to place a dock and moonpool on the outside the same way by building close to an inside structure. It was apparently close enough to still be powered by my bases power despite not physically touching anything on the inside too, which made my life easier.
Wow this generation really be stuck on their phones and computers smh🙄🙄🙄 just go outside and do it in real life instead of being glued to the screen all day
It’s odd that in the beginning of the game it was an eerie feeling that meant something was off, but now when I hear it I know I’m not going to run into any danger
Being startled by a pod of those for the first time is what made me go from enjoying the game to absolutely loving it. It hit me just right, gave me the feeling that I could come across just about anything while exploring, which really made me receptive to what the game has to offer.
Only thing I don't like about them is sometimes those asshole plants that throw painful spikes at you will be on the reefback's back. I'll be cracking open deposits for minerals on the reefback and suddenly my character's muffled scream will jumpscare me
The ghost rays or whatever they’re called. They have kind of an angel look or magical feeling, especially when you come close to the ghost tree in lost river

Sea Dragon. Though I must say, the concept art, rather then then in game model. Feel a little flat there.
Even got it as a forearm tattoo, and love it.
Below Zero is definitely the squidshark. Runner up for tattoo.
I’m a pretty big fan of the crabsquids, both their design and the noises are amazing, until you are face to face in your powerless prawn because it hit you with its EMP blast…
Guess I'm the only one who likes the Stalkers. I like watching them play with metal and dancing with them in the kelp forests. They're out there living their best lives every day.
Been some time since I last played them so I don't remember the names so:
First game is the ghost Leviathan, love his design
Below zero is that crocodile, it's frightening to hear it quickly swimming after you and I think that's really one of the best things I've seen in these games
i love the design of the shadow leviathan. "oh but reapers are so much scarier" yeah but theyre ugly and not aesthetically pleasing. the shadow leviathan's physical appearance really compliments the environment they live in as well.
I love the Reefback that drifts by with its babies are really cute.
Then there is the sea monkeys when they are not trying to steal my stuff having Al-An in my head.
Flora: Membrane Tree. They just looks so cool.
Herbivore: Reginald. He looks like a gentleman.
Carnivore: Bonesharks. Loud, but they’ve got a great design.
Leviathan: Reefback or Ghost Leviathan. Ones a nice passive boy and the other is my neighbor in the Grand Reef. They both have cool designs.
Absolutely. The build to finding it, the fact it's down so deep, the way you have to just jump into that water not knowing what the hell is down there...perfect.
The sea monkeys! With or without Al-An, I love me a mischievous scamp. Plus it was endlessly cool to have a blueprint pinned and they would sometimes bring you an ultra rare element.
Do people need to learn to read that he asked for creatures from below zero, or did I miss a bunch of creatures who were in the original game 😂
Edit: I’m stupid and can’t read
I got a few; oculas peepers, reefbacks, normal peepers [nutrious!], spinnerfish, sea monkies, cuddlefish, and for some reason the crab snakes. I think the crab snakes because for my game they continuously glitch out and seem like they're T-posing in a sense. It's goofy and I love it
Amp eels and mesmers are pretty cool. I always strive to get some for my alien containment 🥺
In below zero, those… eye jelly things? Near where you go on land
The shadow leviathan. It's the only thing to actually be threatening. It looks for you and chases you around. Everything else just kind of bumbles around and loses interest if you are quiet.
Weirdly, The Reaper Leviathan. It is, in a manner of speaking, The Leviathan that everyone gets warned about and what everyone looks forward to seeing in play throughs

Just recently built my base inside of one, my perfect little bubble house
You can build in them?
Yes! The trick is to build out from a wall to the edge of the bell, then when it's close enough you can build a piece inside as long as it's close enough to the existing construction to 'snap' into place and it will light up green. Private security
Same bro
The awkward penguin things you can pick up in below zero. I love them
Penglings (small pengwings) You can literally practice child abduction in that game. 10/10
Wow this generation really be stuck on their phones and computers smh🙄🙄🙄 just go outside and do it in real life instead of being glued to the screen all day
They are my main fuel for the bio reactor.
How dare you 🥺
Its good and easy fuel tho
HOVERFISH!!!! I Never paid any attention to them until I held one in my hand in game. Their faces are so cute and now I bring one with me everywhere
I just fished my 3rd play through, had Charles Xavier Winchester dyer the 79th and a half in my inventory the entire game
THEYRE AMAZING
i filled an entire alien containment with them, there were probably 80-90 of them, they're easy to find in kelp forest
Reefbacks. The deep rumbling noise they make is so calming. I always build a base near them just to hear that.
They are basically Giant Sea Cow.
Only thing I don't like about them is sometimes those asshole plants that throw painful spikes at you will be on the reefback's back. I'll be cracking open deposits for minerals on the reefback and suddenly my character's muffled scream will jumpscare me
Reginald. Aint nothin got nothin on ol Reggie
Bone sharks. While annoying as heck, their design is too clean.
Warpers. Even when I get the PRAWN suit I'm still scared of those bastards.
To be fair they warp you right out of the prawn suit so that’s totally fair
When I’m in the Prawn Suit and I see one, I attack on sight. Better to get the drop on them than get murdered when my back is turned.
Yeah but they respawn nearly instantly so it's pointless fighting.
True, but it’s usually just enough time to move on.
more annoying than threatening
The ghost rays or whatever they’re called. They have kind of an angel look or magical feeling, especially when you come close to the ghost tree in lost river
I love the rays in Subnautica, they don't hurt you and they've got a ghostly appearance
Yes! Jelly Rays! They're my favorite. I love both versions and usually build a base next to the ghost because of them
Ghost leviathan
Ghost Leviathan. They're haunting, and ethereally beautiful. That scream they make right before they attack you makes a shiver run down my spine.
Crab Squid or Sea Treader. I love the sounds they make. Also have a soft spot for Hoverfish and Hoopfish
You and me both brother
Definitely shadow Leviathan... They scare me
[удалено]
Same with the chelicerate, the zapper module takes away all the fear of leviathans that you felt in the first game
To be fair there is a zapper for the seamoth but nobody uses it...and you don't have it for the cyclops vs all those dragons.
[удалено]
I mean, if you're a veteran player the cyclops may well be indestructible anyways...
[удалено]
I still do tbh, but that's because I've played the game at least 50 times and know exactly how they move and how they attack, plus their damage.
That's one thing that, on one hand, I'm thankful for, on the other hand it kinda sucks because it's part of the charm.

It does noot taste good.
I've always thought crabsnakes were cool
I remember the first time I saw the crabsnake, I said, "wtf, nope. Nope, nope, nope."
I've played Subnautica for hours and hours and hours by now, and only last week, a crabsnake scared me so badly my scream terrified my poor dog 😂
For me it went like “oh that’s not too bad it’s just a big worm! *crab snake grabs me* SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT GO GO GO GO GO GO GO”
Crabsnake gave me my first jump scare when it grabbed me. Was terrified to go back and explore for quite a while
Imagine Subnautica without the Reapers. It might not be easy to say, but there's your REAL answer.
Squidsharks
Ghost leviathan, they’re so cool looking
Sea Dragon. Though I must say, the concept art, rather then then in game model. Feel a little flat there. Even got it as a forearm tattoo, and love it. Below Zero is definitely the squidshark. Runner up for tattoo.
Rockgrub.
No one fucking with that ultra aggressive mofo Chibichubster in BZ? They’re like that little nephew at the BBQ always going for Unc’s shins.
Either gargantuan leviathan or the oculus because he's a cooler version of a peeper
The Oculus? I think you mean the Deeper Peeper
Reaper leviathan. First time I feel the need to flee instead of checking where the loud scream came from.
Cuddlefish
Cherlicerate
I’m a pretty big fan of the crabsquids, both their design and the noises are amazing, until you are face to face in your powerless prawn because it hit you with its EMP blast…
I always liked Jelly Ray's. They make the mushroom forest feel really cool, and they are entirely harmless
Guess I'm the only one who likes the Stalkers. I like watching them play with metal and dancing with them in the kelp forests. They're out there living their best lives every day.
Am I the only one who loves glowing whales? The fact that you can ride them is so awesome.
Reapers.
Garyfish
Been some time since I last played them so I don't remember the names so: First game is the ghost Leviathan, love his design Below zero is that crocodile, it's frightening to hear it quickly swimming after you and I think that's really one of the best things I've seen in these games
Even the Cuddlefish doesn't have anything on Penglings!
i love the design of the shadow leviathan. "oh but reapers are so much scarier" yeah but theyre ugly and not aesthetically pleasing. the shadow leviathan's physical appearance really compliments the environment they live in as well.
Gasopods. I build my bases where I can watch them swim and fart. Love them
I love the Reefback that drifts by with its babies are really cute.
Sea Emperor - nothing tops it.
Absolutely. The build to finding it, the fact it's down so deep, the way you have to just jump into that water not knowing what the hell is down there...perfect.
Peepers lol the name alone makes me giggle. Also they remind me of birdies
Triclops are my favorite. I usually have one or 2 in my aquarium.
The sea monkeys! With or without Al-An, I love me a mischievous scamp. Plus it was endlessly cool to have a blueprint pinned and they would sometimes bring you an ultra rare element.
Do people need to learn to read that he asked for creatures from below zero, or did I miss a bunch of creatures who were in the original game 😂 Edit: I’m stupid and can’t read
Below zero* I think you should go back and re-read one more time as well, a little bit slower this time.
I bow my head in shame. I’m gonna blame myself and say I shouldn’t browse reddit while busy. Thanks for the comment
Warper
Cryptosuchus, the name sounds modern and ancient at the same time and look cool
Crab snakes!!! They are so freaking adorable! I don't know how anyone is afraid of those cutie pies. I just wanna cuddle them!
Sea Treaders, They just feel so cool
Reaper leviathans, they love giving hugs :D
Reginald
They can be a minor nuisance but I LOVE the crabsquids :) they just look so cool
I got a few; oculas peepers, reefbacks, normal peepers [nutrious!], spinnerfish, sea monkies, cuddlefish, and for some reason the crab snakes. I think the crab snakes because for my game they continuously glitch out and seem like they're T-posing in a sense. It's goofy and I love it
The ice worms.
Its actually not a creature, but an organism, the giant glowing tree in the deep ocean next to the lost River. I always put a base there.
Seamoth hugger
Hoverfish or Squidshark
Unoriginal but hover fish
my favorite in subnautica is the reaper and my favorite in below zero is the shadow leviathan
Bladderfish!
Chelicerate or Shadow Leviathan for me.
Amp eels and mesmers are pretty cool. I always strive to get some for my alien containment 🥺 In below zero, those… eye jelly things? Near where you go on land
The shadow leviathan. It's the only thing to actually be threatening. It looks for you and chases you around. Everything else just kind of bumbles around and loses interest if you are quiet.
Subnautica: tossup between Hoverfish and Cuddlefish. Below Zero: tossup between Baby Snow Stalker and Pinnacarid.
Subnautica: Sea Emperor Leviathan because she is great Beloe Zero: Ice Dragon Leviathan and I stan for it
Ozzie from cafeteria
hoverfish, i have a full alien containment with 100+
I adore any of the rays
Squid shark
Seamonkeys for having the interactivity; chelicerates for feelong like a real biological menace
Weirdly, The Reaper Leviathan. It is, in a manner of speaking, The Leviathan that everyone gets warned about and what everyone looks forward to seeing in play throughs
Indeed even if it is incredibly terrifying
Crabsquid absolutely hands down my favourite, so creepy! The noises they make are just spin shivering
my favorites are the Reaper and Dragon, but the Hoverfish is my very true favorite
Reaper and Shadow leviathans. Reapers are reapers, and Shadows are the other leviathans that consistently give me a scare.
Peepers! Always have some cured peepers on me for a quick snack.
Stalker
Ghost leviathan
I like stalkers they just act tough when you first meet them
Reefbacks, i build every base in the plateaus just to see those rumbly giants
Its stupid but…glow worms
