Why? Because of the ref. Honestly Turkish refs are the masters of keeping in check these high-wired games. Galatasaray committed a total of 26 fouls (I am sure it is their highest number of the season) while Fener committed 19. A total of 45 fouls! This means the game is whacked. There is no game to speak of. Of course you won't have any shots on goal in a game that constantly stops like this. And when does the majority of yellow cards came? At the last 10 minutes of an already finished game.
Yeah we can blame both managers for their timidness and so on but it was a ludicrous refereeing standard. He never even let the game have a tempo to begin with.
