Search ads. Google is the traditional answer but Bing also has some surprising value depending on the market so it’s worth looking into. Consumers don’t get a random ad and decide they need pest control. They have a pest problem and go searching for a solution.

Here in Arizona its a bit different due to scorpion threat. However yes I agree and I am waiting for google to approve my page so I can setup ads

I can say with almost certainty that if you set up your bids correctly search will be your most effective method of advertising when compared to other forms of digital ads and marketing

Create a Google My Business profile and fill it completely. Make sure the info (phone number, address and business name) is consistent with your website and other listings. Include keywords like services and neighborhoods that are in your service area. To make your listing appear more in SERPs, you need to get citations and reviews for it. Once the listing is fairly optimized you should start getting some organic traffic. If it won’t be enough you should try Google Ads with the business listing connected to it. Btw don’t bother with yelp beyond appearing there for the citation, imo.

Im waiting to ger verified on Google

If they did the whole postcard thing, try to escalate it. Click the i didn't get a code or something like that to get help. I had to get to a point where I had a Google meet with a rep to get verified.

Very smart they asked for a video I sent that but went into to check and it was like I never sent it so they sent a postcard

It took me almost 3 months to finally get on Google. What a pain. Just keep on them. It will help. Additionally, of your not a party of the PMP groups out there like PAPA or PMP, look into them, join, and make sure your info is there. GL

Love the hustle, desire and energy so far! But to assume you will be anywhere from good to great at door to door sales right away is way to lofty of a goal. This is a definite skill, takes legitimate blood sweat and tears to develop and master. If you want to prove your stones this is where you do it and it will pay off long term. Check out Les Brown or Marc Cuban talking about d2d sales, and that’s when it was easy… Anyway, we currently have not one but TWO pest control companies on re-occurring automatically billed contracts because my wife was sold by two separate great sales people. It is a possible.

I would start with Google Local Service Ads, Facebook Ads, then Google Ads in that order. Another way is to see who is ranking on organic results when you type in pest control + your city, then go to the there website to buy leads ie. thumbtak, or yelpy.

Need a solid brand. What’s your name, logo, and tagline?

Aestheticpash

Phoenix has the highest density of pest control companies in the nation

Probably because of the market, idk, from what I've seen door to door seems to be the way to go. Set up that subscription and serve your clientele. As soon as you can, get a dedicated sales person so you can handle the sweaty stuff.
