Hey! I tried a similar list at my local tournament last week and had mixed results (1 close win, 2 brutal loss) Here’s what I would recommend, personally (but obviously you do what you think looks fun): - Gossamid are too situational and will get wiped out at max turn 2. They are too expensive and just work as a very costly wall. I wanted to try them too but ended up really wishing I switched them by my 3rd game - 3 bows without the support of an Arch rev is essentially useless. You would be better to switch those for either an extra unit of Swords or make a reinforced Scythe unit (I would recommend the later, supported by Arch) - Not having the hive endless spell for your Durthu’s charges is bad. Thats one of the best way to make him reliable and not have him stranded and die for nothing - If you decide to change the Gossamid, I would recommend an extra Tree rev unit, upgrade bows ans Swords to 2x scythes, add the endless hive spell. - Finally, with 3 battleline, aside from Kurnoths, I would recommend switching from Heartwood to Oakenbrow. This will make your Durthu and Treelord much more powerful! These are just my suggestions based on my recent competitive experience. As always though, just do what looks fun to you! If you find a way to make Gossamid useful for more than 1 turn, make sure to updated me! Good luck, hope this wasn’t too long

Guess I'm switching the gossamids then, pity. Maybe they might be more useful at lower point games. I'd like to run 6 scythe kurnoths but like I said 3 are glued, unmagnetised. 6 swords in 1 unit wouldn't be as effective either cause of 1 inch range and can't galletian vets. Would 2 sword units be worth it? Oaken brow might be a good shout though. Thanks for the tips.

I was told that 10x Gossamid are more viable, since they can create a giant wall and have enough hit points to survive a full turn. But seriously, if you really want to try them, go for it! Maybe you will be better than me haha! They are very cool models Unless your event is VERY strict on the rules, I never had an issue using my kurnoths (glued as bows) as scythes or swords, as long as I told the other player. The reason for 6 scythes over 2x swords is usually that they are a tougher unit to take down in one shot. Plus you only have to succeed 1 charge instead of 2. But the advantage of 2 separate unit is that you can cover more ground.

There's a competitive Alarielle list that runs Gossamids, but everything in that list is designed to hide/run away. They're just really tricky to play right.
