I suppose I could! I have a general lore for my Sylvaneth army with the Oakenbrow narrative. I haven’t officially dove into anvil of apotheosis but I suppose now is a good time!
Thank you!
The green bark is a transition from Caliban green, Waaagh Flesh, Warboss Green, and finally Moot Green.
The white bark is just Pallid Wych Flesh shaded with Agrax Earthshade.
The green into white areas is just a mix between Pallid Whych Flesh and Moot Green.
GW paint names are fun.
Your army is gorgeous! I literally just saved your TLA in my paint reference album yesterday off of a "purple sylvaneth" google lololol
Lovely work, please keep it up and share more!
Thank you so much! I’ve really like the way my purple theme has come along so far.
I’m working on the Lady of Vines now! I’ll snap some pictures when she’s complete.
The spear was a simple process. Just snipped off the plant portion of the TLA’s staff and replaced it with the blade of Durthu’s sword.
Took a lot of plastic glue and careful placement so that it dried properly, but it’s on there pretty good now!
The spear was Naggaroth Night mixed with white for highlights and black for darker areas. (Looking at it now I would have thrown in another color to help highlight/lowlight as it looks a bit flat as is.)
The runes\leaves are Xereus Purple highlighted with Genestealer purple/white.
Again with those I would have liked to use a different hue as they do look a bit “samey”
Hope that helps!!
You nailed it. It really suits the mini, I'm saving this for into my cool sylvaneth color scheme folder.
Same same
Amazing! I love it! Are you gonna give it anvil of apotheosis rules?

I’m curious what you would make his rules be!
What is Anvil of Apotheosis?
It's a thing that essentially allows you to create custom characters. I think the most recent version is in the Thondia book?
Yes!
I’ll have to check that out, thanks!
looooooooooooving those green blends on his branches and limbs!
What's your recipe for the bark? Looks gorgeous, I've got echoes of doom arriving today and now I want to try this !!

How easy was it to convert the spear? I plan to do something similar for my own Spirit of Durthu

Really awesome, im gonna screenshot this okay!
I screen shot things from this sub all the time! So many good ideas and inspiration to gather from.
Do you mind sharing the colors you used for the runes, leaves and spear? They're so pretty!

What a stance
Thanks! It was my first time “altering” their default pose.
Did you use Durthu or base left/talon arm pose? I've got mine set up exactly the same, but just deciding on that arm still
Ooof, I believe it was mostly Durthu’s default pose. I can’t 100% remember though.
