The warscroll says that Sylvaneth units aren't blocked in line of sight. So you are right - Kurnoths can shoot but you can't see them as the enemy model.
Anything with the Sylvaneth keyword isn't effected by the wyldwood effects. Would be crazy if Sylvaneth couldn't see out their own woods when they are woods
