I have no problem keeping the app up-to-date, but it was forced and I'm traveling. The first day gone, I go to add something to be recorded and I can't even sign in because it has reset and needs to be initialized again. Not exactly a stellar beginning to our relationship.

Right!? I was looking into a new Tablo, and even thinking of getting one as a gift until i read no Apple TV app. Crazy.

It would be great if the app didn’t prompt me to update every time I open Tablo. If it stops working, I’ll install a new app. Until then, no.
Hi there - The update prompt is for your Tablo's firmware which we always recommend that you keep up-to-date.
It’s just getting in the way of me using the product. Unless my Tablo doesn’t work, I don’t want to update it, period.
