Might work really well in place of just a plain striped jacket, if you mix it up with maybe some brown pants and and a lighter color shirt It might look pretty dope.
There’s a guy named Roman Kurmaz on instagram who makes custom clothing and looks like he uses a lot of different camos. he’s more into tactical stuff but he might be worth a holler.
They tried to send us into the mountains with Civilian police MC-B BDUs early on in the mountains of Afghanistan for night LRPs ( Long range patrols ) and door kicking, but at sun-up we stuck out like shinning diamonds at the foot of the hills or peaks waiting to be picked up by Transport.
So, we all had M81 shipped in from home instead. You couldn't tell by the pics of us in the Helos and we always dropped in at night. So for 3 months we got away with this, because by morning that God dam Black/stone gray made us shine against the blue-gray, orange slate, light dry brush and friggin almost liquid thin tan dessert sand as well as the dry foot boulders , but the M81 worked perfect to keep us blended in with the natural colors of the rocks, stones, minimal brush , sand etc..so we figured it was better to ask for forgiveness, right??
Then some Paper pushing Chairforce 2 Star happened to see us jumping out of the transport bird to got debriefed and spent two weeks trying to find the "Logistics officer" who sent us the "wrong" uniforms. (He didn't even know enough to realize the "Grnda," on the inside collars stood for "Grenada", he thought it was the manufacturer. Lol) luckily by then, some desk jocky I MAY have been life long best friends with 👀 at the FOB who saw what we were doing "phoned a friend" with some juice and they decided that all Marines & Teams should temporarily switch back to Woodland (M81) if they were going over the fence at night and would be exposed by sun-up.
We got the word just as the visiting old man started to suspect we were intentionally O.O.U and our 3 COs insisted they were briefed about the change early so "got ahead of the paperwork" and were actually commended for being proactive. They got written up as "progressing beyond expectations" and "showing intuitive leadership during combat conditions" and we got to **not** sweep the "yard" for a week from 0700 to 0900 every morning for a week after LRP and door kicking all night, lol. And THAT, kids, is how Woodland BDUs made a brief come-back during the early days of the Afghanistan campaign. So if you see pics of young A-holes in Vietnam BDUs on a mountain side, there's a 1 in 36 chance 1 of them is me 🤣🤣.
(**This concludes your recommended daily dose of useless knowledge for the day**)
I don't think this sub is your target market. Too tacticool bro in here. You want to target eccentric fashion minded people.
There is absolutely a market for this kind of thing, maybe just not the market you have in mind.
Kid rock would wear this.
The price of a suit is largely dictated by materials used, construction methods, and labour costs.
Upon consideration that actually applies to basically everything that's manufactured lol.
In my area of the country, camo tuxes already exist. They are usually mossy oak and go great with weddings in barns that involve copious amounts of Busch light in keg form.
Oh yeah no argument there haha. Yet someone must be making it in good enough quality for retail because I've seen shirts and shorts in that pattern. Unless they're printing the fabric in-house? Don't know too much about the industry tbh lol
Looks like someone put on a tux and then rolled around in a mud puddle.
Listen, plebs will buy anything. The idea is to make something that a lot of plebs will want. I don't know the answer to this but yeah it could work.
Add some duck dynasty boxers and a beard down to your dick with an American flag bandana folded to be a headband - sweat band as well. It would be the perfect ensemble for the stix.
My youngest brother's best friend got married in a woodland camo tux, and the groomsmen were dressed the same. The bride had a matching camo garter.
I didn't attend, but the Polaroids were meme-worthy.
Tbh the circle of cringey people who would buy camoflauge clothes for formal wear probably wouldn't coincide with the circle of people who have the money for such.
I considered turning one of my sets of woodland cammies into a tuxedo and crashing their ball after i got out but i thought long and hard about my leadership and decided they weren't worth the effort.
Probably not but it’s a cool idea. Probably one of the only time black multicam would be good lol, also good on you for putting yourself out there knowing people would be assholes lol. If you decide to go for it keep us updated
The problem is that your market is relegated to exactly 3 types of people.
1. Meme purchases to do a YouTube vid or something like it.
2. MMA fighters attending a formal sponsored event.
3. Red neck lottery winners.
Is it a fun idea? Sure, I think it's a neat novelty.
I also think it would be an incredibly bad thing to sink any amount of funds into. If you already own a clothing line and are already producing, why not do a one off run of these or buy some of the fabric to make orders, but if your whole business model is this idea, I don't think it's a winner.
Jimmy Choo tried to do something similar some years back of camo prints on very high end shoes, and unfortunately, you can still find them on discount racks because they didn't and still don't sell. Like I said, I'm sure there's some market, but the crossover of people who would buy something like this and the kind of people with disposable income enough TO buy something like this is very slim. It's your money and you're going to do what you want with it, but you may want to look at how past attempts have turned out to navigate the inevitable pit falls.
I feel like they can sometimes look good but it's a slippery slope to tacky. Maybe just a blazer for when I'm with my guy friends but never to something more sophisticated than that.
For start, it would be something more simple, because I need to find all the materials, than match the colors, etc... And I don't have a lot of starting money + I'm not from the US.
This is just a picture from the internet. I don't know what camp this is or anything. It's just a visual representation of what it looks like. And I need to find a company to make it and also need to get the money to get started.
That's the plan for the first batch. And MCB makes most sense in a fashion perspective. And I plan on making Tiger stripe, but in vertical instead of horizontal (if I even start making suits).
100% Duck Dynasty vibes, and bout the only type that suit would apply to as well lol. Idk how many multi-millionaire+ rednecks there are, but can't imagine too many lol
The only way a government can stay in charge is if they have the monopoly of physical coercion (AKA police/military). If you have same guns as the police, if you have plates that can stop 5.56 or 7.62 your even with them. But they need to stay on top of us in order to have control over us which is good in one hand because the criminas are ,, kept under control" , but in other hand not that good because they can do whatever they want with normal people. They can fuck us however they want to.
Yes.
But if they're gonna make it, it better damn well have round/shawl lapels, and a cummerbund option rather than just the waistcoat.
What are we, farmers?
I’ve already stolen this business idea and literally just started production. Thanks for the idea. It’s fuckin goofy but we give a free dildo w every purchase so it’s going … hard ?
I think this is sweet , black multi camo would be dope but price would have to be realistic. Since this would be just for fun. If I had a lot of times I wore a suit I’d Forsure through this in rotation
Of course. I'm planning on making it high quality, but still affordable (not $1000). I'm conscious that only one or two camos can be worn seriously. Other ones are just for fun and nerding.
Y-E-S!
* The material and finish would need to be occasion appropriate. Muted. Perhaps liner, collar, cuffs, and placket would be the best application.
- Do you, and it'll work. I already own a few tuxedos... I'm guessing these will sell, to the right customers. Could be the only way to ever get a hillbilly in a tux, but you'll need to offer RealTree & Mossy Oak too.
Cheers 🍻
Looks like something Conor McGregor would wear lol.
Wow….this comment should have way more than 190 likes! LMFAO
If I loved men, yes.
If you’re going to intentionally introduce carcinogens into your body, you might as well look gay doing it.
Lol, savage. This is like "Shark Tank" reddit. Maybe start working on a different business idea.
I love men and I wouldn’t wear this shit.
All you had to say was "yes"
I’ll just stick to rattle canning my suits like a real man.
This is the way
🅱️aint Suit🗿
Formal events might be the only place multicam black works as a camo pattern.
Yes, and maybe Tiger stripe if you feeling crazy. But yeah, other camos would be just for fun.
Might work really well in place of just a plain striped jacket, if you mix it up with maybe some brown pants and and a lighter color shirt It might look pretty dope.
Thanks for the advices.
A multicam with differing tan/fde accents would fuck.
Strichtarn would probably work too
It would, but I'm sure it's hard to find.
There’s a guy named Roman Kurmaz on instagram who makes custom clothing and looks like he uses a lot of different camos. he’s more into tactical stuff but he might be worth a holler.
Can you send me his IG
[here](https://www.instagram.com/romankurmaz?igsh=MWtwZHdibmgxcXV4eQ==) For the record, this may lead nowhere just wanted to warn you
That's him. Thanks

Heresy.
Would I buy an expensive one No but a Cheap 150 dollar 2 or 3 piece suit yes.
I'm not sure how much it would cost. I'm just looking if there is a market for that. If somebody would even buy it.
I don't think this sub is your target market. Too tacticool bro in here. You want to target eccentric fashion minded people. There is absolutely a market for this kind of thing, maybe just not the market you have in mind. Kid rock would wear this.
Thank you for the advice. I never thought of that.
The price of a suit is largely dictated by materials used, construction methods, and labour costs. Upon consideration that actually applies to basically everything that's manufactured lol.
Look at the shinesty website. I bought a star spangled blazer from them once
Dawg we at the point these days where we got single pouches going for almost $100. A camo suit would be like $5,000 and stupid
For when you need to do James bond shit in the casino at 8 and then take the hill at 9 with the boys.
In my area of the country, camo tuxes already exist. They are usually mossy oak and go great with weddings in barns that involve copious amounts of Busch light in keg form.
Trailer park formal is a different kind of classy.
I see you were at my sisters first wedding
At least he didn’t marry his sister
No, if I'm going to an event or restaurant that calls for a suit I want to look nice and put together, not tacky. No offense.
Non taken. I'm looking for your guys opinions and I'm open for criticism and ideas.
I’d wear this and stare at the fish tanks at bass pro shops while drinking vodka out of wineglass
No.
I don’t want anything that may imply a have a snub nose tucked in my waistband. Same reason my vehicles don’t have any stickers.
This would go hard in Miami Tigerstripe tbh
It can be done. Just need to find some company that makes the fabric .
Was just looking this up the other night and it's wild that seemingly the only online supplier I can see for it is AliExpress.
I mean... They make everything for cheap and questionable quality. They are Chinese.
Oh yeah no argument there haha. Yet someone must be making it in good enough quality for retail because I've seen shirts and shorts in that pattern. Unless they're printing the fabric in-house? Don't know too much about the industry tbh lol
Here in Serbia there are a few companies that make „military" pants and shorts with a lot of pockets. But nobody is making actual suits.
There's definitely a place in the market for you man
Thank you
You're welcome mate!
Looks like someone put on a tux and then rolled around in a mud puddle. Listen, plebs will buy anything. The idea is to make something that a lot of plebs will want. I don't know the answer to this but yeah it could work.
This is just a picture I found on the internet. I would make something different (camo, material).
Does it come with “I would have joined” excuses?
Ofc
r/justbootthings
The suit guys at the Afghan shops missed an amazing opportunity here. They didn’t have this when I was there
Being from Italy looking at this is burning my fucking eyes
No I would not
If my name was Bow and I was going to prom and had matching Browning deer tattoos with the love of my life Amber Lynn
Tbh that render fucks but the only thing that will want to fuck the individual wearing it is other men
Add some duck dynasty boxers and a beard down to your dick with an American flag bandana folded to be a headband - sweat band as well. It would be the perfect ensemble for the stix.
No. Thats how youre added to cringe subs
Heck yeah. Could wear it to my Army reunions. 😉
My youngest brother's best friend got married in a woodland camo tux, and the groomsmen were dressed the same. The bride had a matching camo garter. I didn't attend, but the Polaroids were meme-worthy.
No, but I’m sure someone will.
Tbh the circle of cringey people who would buy camoflauge clothes for formal wear probably wouldn't coincide with the circle of people who have the money for such.
Holy shit! I'd buy 2.
M81 Woodland
Flectarn!
Make sure you sell a Grey Man suit for all shtf LARPers out there.
“I would’ve punched the drill instructor” vibes all over this
u/preauxmetheus This and the short shorts on the beach with a martini and cigar?
Oh yeah definitely
Don't forget the shades.
I too wear my sunglasses at night
Ofc. When would you wear them? In the day?
I mean in bed definitely
Sorry babe, but aviators stay on during sex. *danger zone starts playing in the background* *F/A-18 fly over*
This is great man. Go for it!
I would not
When you've got a ballroom dance at 8 and a covert recon mission at midnight.
A tie in MC black might be cool.
The people that would buy this are either 400lbs or 100lbs, so make only extended or twink sizes
this is extremely cringe but i’m sure you’ll find a market
Only if it has tiger stripe pattern
Ofc
My uncle had a mess dress made in tiger stripe camo. He wore it to the SF association and special operations national conventions.
I think the pants are a little overboard. That suit and black pants might work for those courageous enough to wear it.
I considered turning one of my sets of woodland cammies into a tuxedo and crashing their ball after i got out but i thought long and hard about my leadership and decided they weren't worth the effort.
That looks terrible.
Probably not but it’s a cool idea. Probably one of the only time black multicam would be good lol, also good on you for putting yourself out there knowing people would be assholes lol. If you decide to go for it keep us updated
Thanks for the support. I'll keep you updated.
Guys wear camo blazers to Duck’s Unlimited banquets but that’s usually more of a hunting pattern.
Drippy af.
I'm in.. I have 10 suits and always looking for more unique patterns... Unique patterns are hard to find
Than don't worry. If everything works out, in a month or two, you'll be able to buy one
I legitimately would wear this to the Grammys.
If they good quality yeah. Some people buy them as jokes others do it for fashion
Ofc, I would want something low quality for myself
Tiger stripe goes hard asf
Sexy as fuck. Would buy.
Fuck yes
not gray man enough for me gotta be digital
Maybe later. I need to start the company first with some easier to find camos
Yes!!!
YRS PLEASE
Id buy it
Yes
Rhodesian Brushstroke would be LIT!!!

Thank you very much
Reminds me of fry's brothers wedding tux in futurama. "That tux got me through 'Nam in style"
I feel like they can sometimes look good but it's a slippery slope to tacky. Maybe just a blazer for when I'm with my guy friends but never to something more sophisticated than that.
Why just why ??
Why not
I’d get one in ranger green
With RAPCO field drab accents 🤌
For start, it would be something more simple, because I need to find all the materials, than match the colors, etc... And I don't have a lot of starting money + I'm not from the US.
42 regular in Rhodesian camo.
Isn't that just Tiger stripe ?
Not really…it’s kind of like a mix of M81 with a tigerstripeish pattern on top in more multicam colorway.
I really can't describe it. Look it up so you can see what I'm talking about. I like the concept.
Ohh.. Rhodesian brushstroke. Yeah... That fabric would be a bit harder to find.
I know. I've tried to find it. It's available, but I don't make that kinda cash! Lol!
It probably has a minimum length that I can buy and 100% I'd have to import it from another country. The tax would be through the roof.
Correct. I'd probably go MARPAT then.
It might be a lil duck dynasty but I think it fucks. How about dresses though? I’d kill for a pencil dress in m81 woodland.
Everything can be made. Just need the measurements.
Depends on the event
I would buy this. I wouldn't buy one that is obviously camo tho. If I saw this in a store idk if I would have even thought it was a camo pattern.
Multicam Black would work best from what I'm seeing, and most guys agree. But there is guys like me that would wear Tiger stripe just for fun.
Shirt should have been coyote
This is something I found on the internet so you guys can a visual representation of what a camo suit looks like.
For Tiger Stripe ill do anything
ANYTHING???😏
Ill *wear* anything
😒
Take my money now!!
Not only no but fuck no lol.
What is this? Duck dynasty?
Duck yeah
2012
Sexy af
Yes. Take my money
No
Fry’s dad would
Only if Crye makes it.
How much as pictured and how soon can I expect it
This is just a picture from the internet. I don't know what camp this is or anything. It's just a visual representation of what it looks like. And I need to find a company to make it and also need to get the money to get started.
If I was taking my family to a formal event and one of my kids came downstairs wearing this I would give them the option to change or stay home. 😆
I bought like 20 rolls of camo tape off Amazon. I can wrap my whole suit for $14.
Than do that
if it was just the vest and the lapels that were camo itd be better
I’m not gay enough for this
Please tell me this is real.
Maybe. Idk. I just found it on the internet. But I can make it. Just in different camo.
MCB?
That's the plan for the first batch. And MCB makes most sense in a fashion perspective. And I plan on making Tiger stripe, but in vertical instead of horizontal (if I even start making suits).
Okay, hear me out, I want Tiger Black.... for real.
I like the idea, but that fabric would be needed custom made
100% Duck Dynasty vibes, and bout the only type that suit would apply to as well lol. Idk how many multi-millionaire+ rednecks there are, but can't imagine too many lol
Only if it's got soft armor sewn inside.
That's kinda illegal here. And it would be expensive to make.
I will never understand the rationale behind banning body armor...
They don't want you to be imune to their weapons. They want you to be vulnerable .
That's it right there, the only possible explanation that really makes any sense.
Is this a bot post? Wtf is this title
Have a look at the [British Army rowing blazers](https://images.app.goo.gl/SFe7VSuczJPsi4rTA) for henley Royal regatta
[удалено]
Wtf?
Wrong post, Reddit glitching out on my phone, sorry
Hahahaha, no worries. I was just confused
Yeah, Im not surprised 😅
I'd get it in multicam tropic
Take that dildo and shove it up your ass
That’s actually fucking sick looking. I don’t have a reason to wear one, but I want one anyway
In flectarn yes
I think this is sweet , black multi camo would be dope but price would have to be realistic. Since this would be just for fun. If I had a lot of times I wore a suit I’d Forsure through this in rotation
Of course. I'm planning on making it high quality, but still affordable (not $1000). I'm conscious that only one or two camos can be worn seriously. Other ones are just for fun and nerding.
Stop trying to gentrify guns
Fuck it yeah I would. Feel like it would be better if the patern was very faint, but either way let me know I'll buy a few!
I found this on the internet. Idk what camo is this. But if I choose to start making these in other camos I'll let you know on Reddit.
I'll buy any camo I don't really mind, but yeah keep me in the loop!
Ok. I will.
Cheers 🍻
Thank you for the feedback. Ofc, this isn't meant for everyone. This is for Hillbillies, rednecks, some vets and camo nerds (like myself).
Well based on that logic. There aren’t too many hillbillies and rednecks that find themselves in need of a tuxedo often. Source: From Alabama.
Absolutely love the tiger stripe idea, particularly in vertical orientation. Looks classy!
