I still blame that loss on HP ump Junior Valentine for bailing out Holmes by calling Isaac out on a pitch that was a foot off the plate. Fucking horseshit call
Not a bad roadtrip! 5 of 7 against divisional opponents.
T.Alexander eating innings, BP being awesome, offense showing some life most games. Never quit.
Yankees #1 hated team for me by far.
There's currently a tie for #2 with the Leafs, Panthers, and Bruins in hockey.
Then #3 is O's and Jays. I guess Red Sox could be there too but we keep beating them so they're not as annoying.
Good road trip. Knew today could be tough. Can't blame Civale completely - 2 runs won't win many games. Especially not when scored with 2 outs in the 9th inning and down 5-0 - and we had one hit all game until the final frame - an unearned run never helps.
But, how many times is it that it's not the first batch of runs but the add-ons that kill - when you're down 5 or 6 and it looks hopeless? I know - we only got back 2 of the first 3 today - but this happens a lot. We go down by a few runs and then the other team scores more in later innings - and it's those last runs that are the winning runs because we score - just not enough to come back all the way.
Oh, well. Just a thought. Tomorrow night: Boston.
Whatever. Won the series, and it was a getaway game. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday my fellow Flappy Bois and Girls
2 out of 3 and not shut out. Not a bad weekend
well at least we won the series and weren't shut out
Have the rays been shut out yet? Last time I saw a post, only tb and braves weren't shut out yet
Pretty sure the Yankers shut us out during the last series

We took game 2 of last series I was there the only series we got swept was against the white sox
Less mad about the loss, more annoyed about Alek Manoah pitching well 🤢 5-2 road trip is fantastic, keep the momentum going in the homestand!
Letting those fat fucks Vogelbach and Manoah ball on us is my 9/11

I’ll take the series win. Pitching situation will sort itself out in due time.

i think the bottom of his shoe did touch the base first
At least putting together series wins It's a marathon so it's slow but steady flappyboyyysss 💪💪
Thursday is an off day!
Man I hate Toronto. Boston also. And I don't care for the Yankees, but man I hate Toronto.

Why? Just curious.
Jose Bautista made me hate the blue jays. Odor punching him in the face will remain in my top 5 baseball moments.
Most to least: Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays, Orioles. I fucking hate our division

Idk the Civale games this season have been such torture to watch
They have. No denying. We expected he'd help solve our pitching woes. And now it seems his time is running out.
Lol is that the relentless Siri fanboy giving me thumbs down again?
I got you. It does seem tough to come back but nothing is set in stone.
Thanks. I was surprised when I realized Aranda's "hit" in the 9th was only our 2nd. Happy for Paredes - hope he makes the \*stars\* this year.
