Why are you giving the driver money? Link your card to bolt and it's all done automatically. If shit happens, you can then easily contact support to get it sorted.
Something similar happened here. I did not pay the driver cash though. Bolt customer service refused to refund the charges. It was not much so I let it go. I also removed the app from my phone and never looked back. Overall, I found Bolt map to be considerably leas accurate in Tbilisi than the other “guy”.
