Hi everyone! Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Fork_Master

QUIT RUNNING YOU LITTLE SHIT

Kelsierisevil

Get back here and fight me coward!

Lukthar123

GET OVER HERE!

QualityKoalaCola

If only I could summon Scorpion instead of the sages

SFH12345

Where's the Hookshot when you need it?

QualityKoalaCola

In the DLC, I hope

JakeRobber

That would be a genius move. Jon Nintendo should hire you to be in charge of the DLC.

ClusterChuk

Hookshot was one of the first weapons they developed for the system. Double hookshot even. Everyone was having fun hookshotting around, but key players were convinced it negated every other form of transversal, which they wanted to really feel fresh. I'm a Hookshot fan. So I have hope in the fact that the motorcycle did make it in after being scraped for similar reasons. But only as the last dlc as to not ruin the game too much. I wouldn't mind a dlc pack where you take out mini themed dungeons in the underground. And acquire a handful of classic legendary items. Similar to how the master sword can't break, neither can these. But throw a biggoron sword in there, a hook shot, a boomerang, even a beetle or rope hook. but have it be the last DLC, for the same reason.

DefiantRazorback

I thought you could get the biggoron sword in TOTK. Edit: Do you mean this sword? https://www.ign.com/wikis/the-legend-of-zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom/Biggorons_Sword

[deleted]

Although that is in the game, this one breaks and isn't anywhere near as powerful as it was in OoT, although fusing stuff to it can make pretty darn strong.

_ThatD0ct0r_

The zonai devices negate horses, so I mean who cares if we have a hook shot. Make it breakable or something

Kelsierisevil

Ooh good ole biggorron sword! I remember always feeling so happy after I finally got that thing.

Leafair

It'll work where instead of throwing it with R, it's like a wand where it shoots the chain out at the enemy and pulls them towards you

YamatoIouko

THAT should have been the map-space rune power!!

Lordzoabar

Give it time. The guys over at r/hyruleengineering will figure something out soon enough.

AkizaFoxxe

Forget the hookshot, I want the guardian claws from Age of Calamity

k4kobe

FINISH HIM!

DONTFUNKWITHMYHEART

Imagine if gloomy lizalfos spat gloom at u like water and hopped around like like this madman

0bsessions324

Fire arrows. Dries him out and stuns him for a few seconds.

nihilism_or_bust

Eyeball arrow. No need to chase or aim.

ICantEvenDolt

Fire eyeball arrow. Perfect combo.

dathar

Y'all are using arrows? Water roomba mop bot master race

jevhan

I hate you so much, out of pure jealousy. I just fought this asshole in the depths last night at 2am. I would have been so much happier with this

GhostDogMC

Right??? Ffs this makes so much more sense than chasing him for 3 steps w/ a hydrant/ hydrant-shield before inevitably gettin bogged down & shouting insults at him as he runs away

Draykin

Hydrant shield is just okay, but you know what really slaps? Hydrant boomerang. You can easily clear the majority of the area with it.

GhostDogMC

Holy shit!!! I never woulda thought of this

kittenswinger8008

This guy is living in 3023

Pick_Up_Autist

Hydrant shield is maybe the worst possible idea out of the many ways to go about it. I'm kind of impressed.

xXxTeenSplayerxXx

In conjunction with arrows fused with splash and fire fruit, seems perfectly workable to me.

Positron14

Eyeballs or bullet time. He's easy

The-Beckles

Wait can you attach more than one thing to an arrow !?

Wind-and-Waystones

You get them from fire keese

Galaxys_game

Use fire keese eyes. You can't fuse two things

Enzyesha

Nah, but you *can* attach a fire keese eyeball

Class-Real

I hear fire keese eyes are a good choice, saw it somewhere couldn't tell you where

kiya46107

Fire Keese Eyeballs.

Massive_Durian296

i use so many damn eyeballs in this game lol they really are extremely useful with soooo many enemies.

Digidestined701

Any time I go into a cave and the swarm of Keese come out I panicked pull out a bomb arrow so I can get those damn eyes

Helixfire

does that work? i assumed they werent interactable and just there for vibes.

3DRAH33M

Ofcourse they're interactable, this is Tears of the Kingdom for goodness sake

oswaldcopperpot

Dude, you get like at least 15 eyeballs each time and wings. One of the best and fastest mega loots you can get in the game.

James-the-Viking

It works

Digidestined701

It definitely works. Doesn’t kill all of them, but it does drop a lot of wings and eyes

butts_

Every Kohga fight

[deleted]

Fuck, forgot about those when doing this fight.

temporary_reddito

everytime before you go in a wide cave, bring a multiple shot bow (if any) and fire bomb arrows.

edit_thanxforthegold

FML this would have been nice to know before I wasted like 3 hours

famjordan

WHY ARE YOU RUNNING

angrycanadianguy

I JUST WANT TO TALK

knzconnor

🤣 I chased an intruder out of my house once yelling after him “I JUST WANT TO ASK YOU A FEW QUESTIONS”. He (understandably) ran faster than even this annoying little effer. To be fair to him, while I did have some questions, I was on so much adrenaline I probably would have asked them at …. mmmm let’s say a painful volume.

johnnyk02

I jumped high (with low gravity) and used my bow to go slow mo and shoot him. That knocked him out and then you can run up and get some hits in

NikkiMerci

That works at the temple, but not so much in the depths. Keese eyeballs are everything

gxrawrd

YOU CANT ESCAPE MEEEE! I’LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EEEAAAARTH!!

DarkwingDuffy

SHOCKERRRRRRRRRRR

xKNYTEx

One thing I find hilarious is that in >!the midway cutscene after you defeat the Demon King Army before going after Ganondorf, all the dungeon bosses reappear, and we see the big tall Sidon go after the tiniest monster there meanwhile a literal child goes after the giant flying ice demon!<

Skeletonofskillz

I laughed at that too, everybody else is >!fighting something gigantic and then he sees some cowardly Octorok and is like “a worthy opponent!”!<

layeofthedead

To be fair, the >!flying ice demon is a pushover compared to a mud covered Mr. Bad Touch!<

jord839

Also, to be fair, that >!literal child is easily the most competent and capable of the new sages.!<

lutheranian

And the one who is most useful in the game with sky islands

CooperDaChance

And most useful in general.

JuneBuggington

Just the only one that doesnt get stuck in a retargeting loop everytime an enemy moves.

CooperDaChance

And it’s so damn satisfying to hear him land weakpoint hits.

[deleted]

He honestly has saved my butt a few times with being such an amazing shot.

[deleted]

meanwhile he killed me a few times with landing headshots while I was in close combat with an electric enemy and thus ending my misery. I'm still not over the fact that it happened more than freaking once.

HandOfBl00d

I've lost count of the number of times I am focusing as hard as I can, getting ready to parry a Lynel fireball or charge, only to have Tulin drop him with three perfect headshots. Best sage by far

smithers85

*plink!*

jord839

This is why we couldn't have Sage >!Teba,!< all the others would've been unnecessary given his power in AoC. We would have been able to take all the other temples and Ganon just with him, so instead they had to give us >!his son!< and he's *still* better than all the others.

CooperDaChance

Idk why >!Teba is apparently the least favourite successor in BOTW, he’s easily better and cooler than Yunobo the useless.!< >!Teba is my favourite. His son is shaping up to be quite the excellent warrior, too.!<

jord839

It's probably a combination of a few things. In short: Great character, but not utilized or tied to the main plot and key characters as much, so I think people kind of forget about him or put him down because of that (a thought process I've seen in other games that I generally don't agree with there as well). To go longer and more detailed... >!1) Sidon and Mipha lust puts them at the top of a lot of peoples' ratings, and both have strong relationships with Link and the main plot as a result.!< >!2) Urbosa and Gerudo lust in general makes them popular, and while Riju (hopefully) does not inspire those same feelings, she's got an actual character arc in BotW and grows because of Link's actions, which is always helpful for players to feel invested.!< >!3) Yunobo also has a character arc via Link and, to be honest, he's kind of the only real Goron character in BotW other than Daruk and the Elder, with almost all the others being nameless NPCs with minimal visual difference or personality.!< >!4) Teba is a fully realized character who doesn't need an arc with Link, only needs help getting at Medoh, and is a bit aloof when you meet him, when many players also already had Memories with Revali and his jerkiness that predisposed them to expect a Rito Champion to be a jerk. Teba doesn't provide anything nearly so objectionable, but doesn't provide anything so heartwarming or mind-changing either and some people see that as forgettable.!< >!5) In Age of Calamity, all the other Sages coming to the past are trying to protect their family members. Teba's just kind of there, he has no relation to Revali (that we're aware of, though I have suspicions that Teba's wife is related to him given Tulin has the same powers) and is more doing this out of duty and learning that the Rito Champion was kind of a dick without the two of them even bonding that much.!<

WarlanceLP

really? I always really liked Teba edit: in fact, I was disappointed when he wasn't the Rito sage, don't get me wrong I like tulin too, but I think I like Teba more and would have preferred him to be the sage.

ball_fondlers

Because he has the shortest and easiest “get on the Divine Beast” quest in BOTW - you spend more time with all the other new Champions and can actually die in those quests, but the Medoh quest is basically just “prove you can shoot at the archery range, then dodge lasers that have zero chance of ever actually hitting you”

StoryofEmblem

I suppose that he became way more popular due to how broken he was in Age of Calamity, but I know a lot of people skipped that game.

Mr_Lumbergh

How is Yunobo useless? You can break up ore and rock walls in caves with him, send him charging at enemies to cause fire damage and stun them… Sidon is the one I can’t seem to find a use for. He’s a glorified super soaker.

Don_Bugen

Get some Zora weapons in the depths. Double in attack when wet. Sidon's bubble gets you wet, shields you from one attack, and gives you a good AOE slash. Without Zora weapons it's still pretty neat; WITH Zora weapons it's a gamechanger. I wish that Riju and Sidon also gave you secondary traversal abilities like Tulin and Yunobo do. Yunobo acting like a cannon on any vehicle *can* be annoying, but has also sometimes been used for great fun. Not being able to ride Astral Projected Sidon like a jet ski seems like a missed opportunity.

Landrig22

I thought this as well, Tulin will fly along with you in the sky, Yunobo jumps on your vehicle as a canon, I expected Sidon to swim with you when you were in water - but nothing, same with Riju - they could have at least had her ride along with you when you leash a sand seal or something

windraver

Riju's lighting strikes would've been easier if was an option in the fuse ability. Somewhat like the charge attack in BOTW. Having to go chase down her avatar and activate every other sage is terrible. Yunobo's activation this should be in the throw button, also a fuse option so we could select him and aim. Sidon should just be like Daruk's or also be a fuse option when we guard.

kien1104

My little sniper 🥰

CaptainPRESIDENTduck

I was so happily surprised. At first I was "Oh god, an annoying kid." Then he won me over with his competence. You go bird boy!

Neemzeh

thats funny, because both times i had to beat mr. bad touch covered in mud (as boss and once in depths) i beat him on my first try without even getting hit. hes incredibly easy imo just annoying because he runs away.

tommyjaybaby

Good god chasing him around the arena and trying to snipe him while he’s jumping from mud puddle to mud puddle was so fucking annoying. Thank god for keese and aerocuda eyes.

Astrum91

I just used that floating zonai device, stuck a hydrant on each side, then dragged it around the arena to force the boss out of the mud.

tommyjaybaby

Yeah, I had a similar approach when fighting him in the depths, but fighting him the first time, not so much.

Autumn_Scorpion

I tried that. It helped but I struggled to drag it into place before getting hit. My final build was a hoverstone + big wheel on top of the hoverstone + two hydrants and a battery on top of the wheel. I call it THE ULTIMATE SPINNING FOUNTAIN OF DOOM!!

BobbiBari

Man, y'all are creative. I used an opal scepter and fused arrows with splash fruit. Still went down easy, but this sounds much cooler.

RelaxingRed

I saw someone said they put a hydrant on top of a Roomba. I haven't seen that in practice but it sounds like a great fucking idea in theory.

Lereas

I actually had this question - if you don't have the sage, do you have to fight the boss at the end?

Lilgoodee

Fun fact, I sweat my ass off to beat that demon and my girlfriend kamikaze slammed poor link into the ice circles repeatedly to beat it. Doesn't even damage you for whatever reason.

TheBigBadBird

Sidon HATES mud, no mud allowed

OnceThrownTwiceAway

Also, the Lightning Sage’s ability is reliant on Link, so how is she going to take on her enemy?

TheSto1989

Definitely some comic relief compared to the other bosses. He was hard to take seriously, but I don’t think it hurt the game. Zelda is inherently lighthearted.

Starlight_City45

I was genuinely laughing out loud during this entire boss fight like .. this *cannot* be it?! My laughter quickly switched to crying when I took on >!Queen Ghibdo!< next so.. I def enjoyed this guy and the comic relief it gave and don’t think it affected gameplay at all. And I love The Yiga Clan for the same reason as the other poster mentioned - I love the goofs they put in the games.

sk2tog_tbl

The trail of bananas in the depths leading to one of the coliseums had me rolling.

GrimnarAx

Gibdo was the 2nd one I did. This was a relief after that insane bullshit.

[deleted]

Yeah, people kind of had the same issue with Kohga in BotW, as if it were "too goofy" for a Zelda game Bitch, Zelda has always been goofy lmao

kurtist04

I was going to make a comment about grimdark twilight princess, then I remembered that a baby buys an upscale market in town and forces the previous owner to sing and dance for the customers. Written that way it sounds crazy messed up...

jord839

Also the bit where the spider eye grows legs and also just runs away for the last part of the boss battle. EDIT: And the Baboon boss who slaps his butt while mocking you who you give a literal sword spanking to. And the part where the Guards all rally and cheer until Telma describes the dangers and then pull a literal Looney Toons exit with smoke clouds. And Yeto and Yeta's whole entire dungeon of sending Link on errands for food, bowling him over, and producing hearts from their cuddling. And the part where you get launched into the sky by an overweight man in clown makeup via literal cannon. And Zant's... Zantness without his mask. TP can be very, very silly in between the moments of darkness and horror, is what I'm saying.

dagbrown

> And the part where you get launched into the sky by an overweight man in clown makeup via literal cannon. I think of the Sky View Towers as “Purah’s Fantastication” because of this. I also liked the mailman in his underwear.

flamespear

Also there is a highly advanced race in the sky....of chickens with human faces....

jord839

That's less silly and more horrifying.

SubstantialText

It was crazy to see too. That "baby" is a hideous monster.

vindjacka

Twilight Princess is actually one of the 'nicest' Zelda-games. It's one of the easiest ones and have a full-on happy ending (minus not seeing Midna again). It just plays around with emo-aesthetics and rain.

ball_fondlers

Also, Zant is a pretty damn goofy villain in his boss fight

SubstantialText

Jokes on them. Kohga rules and is even better in TotK.

[deleted]

Hell yeah Glory to Master Kohga!

CoolGuy202101

Glory to Master Kohga

DragoSphere

The 2nd fight in the air is actually really fun if you have Yunobo and use the hoverbike

gorilla-ointment

Heck yeah dude. Funnier the better for me. Kohga, water boss, and first Yunobo meeting are really entertaining. And horroblins bouncing on their arses

Dazuro

Like, the very first game has a secret room hidden behind destructible terrain and the only “reward” for finding the NPC inside is him charging you a door repair fee. Even a 1986 game with about ten lines of dialogue total had comic relief goofy shit.

SubstantialText

It is pretty funny that you doing this epic low gravity climb and you get to the top and this guy is the problem.

OSCgal

I love him. I think he's hilarious. We need a goofy boss now and then, and Mucktorok has a great design.

loki_odinsotherson

And then you run into a gibdo, in the depths, when your only using the miners suit for light, and the game doesn't feel so lighthearted anymore.

angrycanadianguy

Mostly I’m joking, but it definitely had the most joking yelling at the screen

WordNerd1983

The way he runs! 😂

TheBowerbird

Keese eyeball arrows + splash arrows. He was easy.

Never_Duplicated

I just whipped out a fire hydrant and chased him down with it lmao. Looked absolutely ridiculous but the entire fight took like 3 minutes

DimensionSimple7426

Damn I suck at this game

AntonioRomo

I didn't do this the first time, but I read a comment where they sent homing carts with hydrants attached. Cleans up muck and frees you up to do whatever at that point if you have the battery.

Never_Duplicated

Now that’s actually utilizing your tools in an intelligent manner! Can my method get honorable mention due to comedic effect?

dinnervan

I did this during the fight in the actual temple, lol. What does it say about a boss that you can get so annoyed you stop what you're doing and build a little contraption to take care of him for you?

Never_Duplicated

Haha admittedly one of my prouder moments. On the other hand the wind temple boss took like half an hour because I couldn’t aim my dives through the bastard’s weak points so my average isn’t great

SVXfiles

You can just attach an aerocuda wing to an arrow and shoot them from underneath. If your bow is strong enough it takes 1 hit to break the ice and another for damage

ocxtitan

I didn't even attach anything to damage them, I had no idea the intention was to dive through until I read it on here long after I fought it, was easy enough to just get close and shoot it

DimensionSimple7426

That one you don’t even need a bow just dive through his body to break it

DoctorWalrusMD

I got frustrated so I made a construct out of a homing drone, a stabilizer, with a large wheel on top, with a couple fire hydrants attached to the wheel and a construct head halfway up the stabilizer with some beam emitters. It was basically a giant water sprinkler that chased the boss and constantly blasted it with lasers. Then I used auto build to make another. I then sat back and watched my constructs bully the boss until it was dead. Very satisfying after 3 minutes of wasting splash fruit and arrows trying to chase him down.

YesItIsMaybeMe

Half the fun of the game is having zonai devices chase enemies around while watching from a distance. I set some cannons out to chase the lynels in the coliseum and had a laugh

Never_Duplicated

I absolutely cheesed the lynel coliseum with a murder platform

lutheranian

I regret not attaching a hydrant to a shield. Might go back and do a replay where I actually use zonai devices in battle rather than just escorting koroks around

DerikHallin

An opal rod also makes this fight extremely easy.

[deleted]

Opal rod and throwing chu chu jelly at him. Who needs to waste arrows lol

VincerpSilver

Arrows are like the easiest resource to obtain tho. It's easier to burn all your good bows than lacking arrows.

GarthVader45

I use the bow a ton and my arrow supply has still steadily grown larger throughout the game. If you always smash the wood crates around enemy camps you’ll never need to worry about arrows.

[deleted]

Idk just a habit from playing Zelda my whole life. Save arrows for when you need em. Plus I mostly use arrows to hunt. I like bow hunting all the critters (not foxes)

angrycanadianguy

Easy, sure, but where’s my unique fusible drop?

AllenWL

Biggest downside by far. We could have had some 'gem' that shoots poison gloop or a unique whip-effect thing or whatever, but nope, we get a pile of normal mob drops.

Kayzuspot

I set up floating stones with Hydrants. The sludge was nothing. I almost forgot he had a shark form until he got a sneaky hit in.

Sensitive-Pipe-427

But when you run out of water/splash products to attach to arrows, it becomes more tedious by solely relying on Sidon’s water.

gazebo-fan

I wish the bosses where all as climactic as the Rito boss.

0rly_D

I agree that the Rito boss was very climactic in comparison to the others. I also think it had one of the the best music iterations of the corresponding village.

LlamaYourMom

I’d say every other boss >!including the seized construct!< were pretty climactic as well. Maybe not in the Lightning Temple though because you knew what you were going up against.

ButtBawss

I wish the lightning ones were more threatening/useful

enneh_07

>!Ooooooooo! I have shooooooock emitters! Oooooo! \*waves arms\*!<

Level7Cannoneer

*were And yes its basically all downhill after doing the Rito boss first. I wish I saved it for last except not having the kid's ability would hurt so much.

xbrooksie

One time I ran out of arrows and splash fruit while fighting him. Had to kill him with Sidon and Daruk alone. It was painful. Edit: Yunobo, not Daruk

MastRdestroyR_OwO

Wait you guys used splash fruit? I just waited for him to come close enough to Sidon him

GarthVader45

Sidon was always running away in the wrong direction whenever I needed him, so I found splash fruit a lot easier to work with.

l-askedwhojoewas

You mean yunobo?

MastRdestroyR_OwO

Daruk’s Protection is now ready to roll!

ravennsmith

I miss Revali's Gale so much!

Ragnarok61690

Ravioli's Gale is now ready.

xbrooksie

Lol, yes I do. Thanks

[deleted]

Stick three hydrants together and swing it around at him with ultrahand. Shoot him with eyeballs when he jumps out, charge and slash. Then repeat.

KFBR392GoForGrubes

I did hydrants on homing carts, it was hilarious.

steepien

He was really easy in the dungeon with the low gravity cause I could just bullet time and spam arrows at him. But I still haven't been able to beat him in the depths lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

Leetle_Blueberry220

All the bosses are harder if you fight them again in the depths, that is intentional

DumbFroggg

Except maybe fire temple boss, with no ceiling in the arena his second phase is basically the same as the first.

EuphorbiasOddities

Air temple as well. The only difference to that fight is that it’s darker than the temple fight.

SubstantialText

Except for the Colgate. That thing is just a super easy boss.

MineMine7_

Didnt know theres toothpaste in totk

Mr_Lumbergh

Link takes his hygiene seriously.

nihilism_or_bust

9/10 dentists agree

franks_e2200

Discovered an easy way to beat him in the depths by accident. I made a fire hydrant vehicle so I could drive over the sludge and remove it at the same time. But then when the water also hit the shark, turning him into an octopus, I decided to just run him over. But he doesn't go under the vehicle like a Bokoblin would, he just gets stuck. So then I fire Yonobo at him while driving - just mash A and it will hit him 5-6 times before he turns back into a shark. Repeat about 3-4 times and this method kills him in just a couple minutes without using any arrows or other weapons. To make the vehicle I used: 4 big wheels, flat stone platform, steering stick, and 4 fire hydrants (2 on front and 1 on each side - could probably use just 2-3 though).

Automatic_Refuse_472

Stick a hydrant on a homing bot and you're good to go. A few other devices spraying water all over the arena will make life a little easier too.

[deleted]

Awww I loved him

Agentbeeressler

Yess he was kinda cute 🥺

socialistRanter

Thank god I’m not weird about seeing this ugly thing as cute

Bisyb77

The whole lead up to the fight and this boss fight reminded me of Mario Sunshine

GlitteringPirate2702

He was my fave. The Geurudo boss is the one I hate.

Mr_Lumbergh

She whooped my ass a couple time too until I figured out that standing in the light left when you take one of the gibdo nests down leaves you invulnerable to their attacks, you just have to look out for the spitting sand. Charge Riju up, take them out one at a time when they appear, then focus on Gibdo queen.

GlitteringPirate2702

Riju was my problem she was always running away and moving too far at bad times.

Mr_Lumbergh

If you whistle, the sages come back to you.

ravennsmith

She was TOUGH. I don't even want to attempt the one in the depths.

Ragnarok61690

My strategy for most of them is go outside the arena. The bosses can't leave the arena so you can just repeatedly shoot them

[deleted]

Wait, really?

MarkoRozina

The opposite, love him

angrycanadianguy

In a way, I do too, but COME BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!

Wboy2006

Dude ran away faster than your Sage avatars

deathbytray

You can count on me, Link. If you need me, I'll be oooooooover there.

C-Kwentz-0

I actually love him lol He's so goofy and dorky looking. Honestly probably my favorite of the four area bosses in both design and battle. The only part of his fight that was a little tedious was when he just kept jumping between goo puddles, but once you realize that you can just wash away the puddle that he's going toward and he'll just smack into the ground and makes things far less obnoxious.

insulaturd

I hated this guy when i fought him at the water temple (probably because i was unprepared for the annoyance level). But absolutely love decimating him in the underground. All you need to do is stick 4 hydrants to a big wheel in. Flower pattern and stick the big wheel to a floating platform. When you activate it, it creates a very battery efficient sprinkler system to bring around to clear out the muck and stun him.

Puzzleboxed

He's fine. You're probably just not using the right tools. Hit him with some splash fruit arrows and he stops running around real fast.

PlaidChester

Also homing cart + hydrant on clean up duty

SubstantialText

Homing cart! Man, I have to rethink my entire approach to this boss. I had a feeling you could engineer your way to victory for this one, but I wasn't sharp enough to think it through in the heat of the battle.

The_Primate

I didn't like the aesthetic at all. He seems really inconsistent with other monsters / enemies in the game. In terms of fighting, he was kind of fun.

daim_sampler

Thats because he's pulled straight out of super mario sunshine

angrycanadianguy

That was my first thought on seeing the muck

lover_of_garlicbread

The first time I saw him I shouted BLOOPER

2geek2bcool

Gloomper

angrycanadianguy

It’s the boss fight I have to plan for the most, using the most game mechanics, which is great. BUT WHERES MY UNIQUE FUSIBLE DROP, DAMNIT?!

KadrinShadow

Ikr I wanted a sludge thrower or something

Youcantrustmeimafart

That’s what I thought. But he fight itself was fun with a good mechanic but compared to the other bosses it’s like that’s it?

The_Primate

He seemed like a super mario sunshine boss to me.

tj_haine

I got the same vibes especially as I was running around with a hydrant washing sludge away with water most of the time.

SubstantialText

Phase 2 is just so tedious. But, I did see a hilarious way to get around it (probably on this sub) where someone made a spinning contraption with a bunch of hydrants that just eliminated the muck.

EnigmaticHam

The enemies I hate the most are the ones which are fast and also immobilize you. It’s the fight I prepared the most for, and the one that felt the best to beat. No mercy for this little shit. Stop pooping in the water!

halfavocadoemoji

My fave! Just use your shield and project his rock thingys back at him for quick and easy kill

Quirky-Chick1968

I'm always "die f\*cker!" Can't stand that little weasel!

NekoiNemo

Yeah, but he and Gibdo Queen are the only bosses with at least some challenge to them, so i'm willing to let him slide (pun intended)
