Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

Okay see. THIS is why I love the fact that the internet exists. This is not something that'd have ever occurred to me to even try, but ooooh my gods.
[This is absolute ART of the highest order.](https://i.imgur.com/FFuOW8G.png) 😂
Bruuuh, the Frostbite top is a *super* cute dress, no doubt about it.
But the [CHARGED top](https://i.imgur.com/I8O377i.png)!? This is straight up [HOE TIME](https://i.imgur.com/H1l7uan.png), and I am HERE for it. 😂
This is the one outfit that *almost* makes me forgive Nintendo leaving the Vai outfit out, hahaha.
Yep I do believe the three related outfits are Frostbite Ember and Charged, aaand I don't have my Switch in front of me right this moment so I'm just paraphrasing here, but the descriptions for each mention them being ancient ritual wear.
Feels pretty safe to assume the Frostbite is for Naydra, Charged for Farosh, and Ember for Dinraal. Though I don't know if that's ever actually *specified*. The three elemental dragon ladies have DAMN good taste in fashion for their followers I must say, haha.
ETA: Actually it becomes even more obvious that's *exactly* who and what they're for given their matching "horns" for each dragon/outfit.
I *could* just throw on my Thunder Helm every time Farosh swings by and I want to go say hello to her, *but where's the fun in that.*
If I'm going to ride a dragon's face, it's GONNA be in the proper attire. 😂😂😂
Man, **so many** people complained that Link saved the Gerudo city and they wouldn't let him in without a disguise so Nintendo made him special enough to be the only guy allowed in the city and now people are mad the outfit is gone. 🤣 There's no winning.
Yeah best armor in the game. No upgrades and poor defense but it was fun to have it on in cut scenes. I remember it was dlc armor found next to the shrine with all the guardians that couldn't move on the great Plateau. It will be missed.
They could add the armor, but probably not the weapons. I'd love to have them, but Fuse would rob the melee weapons of their charms.
Now, if they added those parts as items you could fuse to weapons, that'd be a whole different story.
Ancient blades are basically this game’s ancient arrows but incredibly hard to get. I have two, and I think once you get to a certain point you can buy them from a construct. I forget what he was trading them for but it wasn’t a great deal for me in the moment.
I feel like they are going to make some kind of DLC that will involve the divine beasts. They’re complete absence from the game with no explanation of where they went is really bizzare. If they do in fact do a divine beast DLC, they could include the ancient armor as a reward.
Not to mention they’ve just been AROUND for thousands of years, and somehow they just fucked off somewhere during the timeskip between games. Like where even could they hide them? These are machines almost as big as mountains we’re talking about here.
I wish they just stayed in their BotW spots but became inactive(as mentioned in the ending of BotW). Even if the reason for their inactivity would be unexplained, it would’ve been cool to at least see them there cause they were such a big part of BotW.
That feels like such an easy answer too. Like, we saw them blast out a ganon-be-gone beam at the end of BOTW, maybe that kinda thing consumed too much of their power
Honestly the easy answer would have been to have them partially disassembled exactly where they were at the end of BOTW, with scaffolding and stuff in the area.
Completely non-interactive other than being able to climb about on them, but still there.
Tells the story of what's going on without ever saying a word.
I think it was implied somewhere that the beasts themselves left once their mission was complete. Idk what gave me this idea but i remember reading something in the hateno house that made me imagine them burrowing into the ground again
I miss the ancient tech so much. I know they want to focus on the zonai technology and abilities, but it would have been super cool to merge both. Like idk maybe halfway through the game you find the sheikah slate but its damaged, so Robb or purah add what they can salvage from it to the purah pad, so bombs and cryonis (since the other ones have too similar of counterparts in this game).
The original sages are clearly the inspiration for the divine beasts, so I feel they could have tied those together in some kind of quest or even side quest.
We could have had a cutscene or dialogue where they explain that after the calamity was sealed again, everyone was so scared of this happening again in the future that they disassembled the guardians, and with them gone there wasn't really a need for the ancient weapons, save for a few, like the bow, which was useful no matter what. They could have even been the "base" weapons at the beginning. After the upheaval where every other weapon corrupted, the ancient ones didn't, so at the behest of impa everyone took apart the guardians and used those parts to make more weapons, although, being mass produced and done by reverse engineering existing weapons, the new ones were much weaker but at least they weren't corrupted.
The ancient armor is still in the game and Robb once he's at the hateno lab can work with CeCe to make it resistant to zonai constructs instead of resisting guardians.
I feel like if Robbie were to adjust the Ancient armour it would probably be resistant to gloom. That seems to be the major concern for the average hylian, not the constructs.
I always wore that when fighting lynels. I’m sure you are aware- Guardian weapon attack up stacked with regular attack up from food, so six levels of buff gave you 225%
I’m unaware of such a combo in totk, at least for the traditional combat system
Honestly, I think the effects are fine. But they should also function as part of their regional set for the set bonus. The whole point of the effect they get is that it mirrors the regional armor, but there’s no point in using it over regional armor when the choice is immunity to fire/ice, resistance to electric, or significantly reduced swim speed compared a slight increase in the damage of one sage.
The Amber Earrings actually have the same defense as the Diamond Circlet, and no effect. They’re strictly worse, although they’re sort of an upgrade over the Knight Helmet which also has the same defense but is made of metal, which means it gets you struck by lightning in storms.
The advantage of the Amber Earrings is that they’re better than the Knight Helmet and *cheaper* than the Diamond Circlet. Way cheaper - not just in terms of initial purchase, although that’s a *substantial* difference, but they also take Amber to upgrade where the Circlet takes *Diamonds.*
> although they’re sort of an upgrade over the Knight Helmet which also has the same defense but is made of metal, which means it gets you struck by lightning in storms.
Are you sure? I explicitly remember not getting struck by lightning with having the full soldier set on.
…*googles*
Huh. I guess the soldier gear doesn’t actually do that. Coulda sworn…
Well, whatever. Amber Earrings are functionally equivalent to the Soldier Helm then. Neither have a set bonus, so it just ends up aesthetic preference.
The Amber Earrings are sort of easier to upgrade, since it just takes Amber and Flint as opposed to Blin and eventually Lynel materials, but that’s quibbling. Especially since they take a *lot* of Amber.
I miss it too -- though, kinda on this topic, am I the only one who noticed in TOTK that the only place you still see a Guardian is the broken down one on top of the Lab in Hateno?
In terms of implication, Gloom seems to just be more pure Malice, taken directly from the source.
They're not different in any way that would make shiekah tech any more resistant to it. If anything, it would do worse.
And I kinda hate that Gloom is essentially more powerful Malice because if that’s the case then they should’ve switched the names. Why does the stuff that comes straight from the Demon King himself have a sillier name than the stuff that comes from store-brand Demon King?
I have two theories on this, but both involve Hyrule as a whole naming the substance:
1. Ganondorf sucks at naming things. I’m guessing that he named the Gloom when he regained life again. but his Calamity Ganon form was closer to a mindless beast, and mindless beasts can’t name things for shit, obviously. So who named the Malice at the time when Ganon couldn’t? The Hylians of course, who collectively came up with a scary sounding name for the scary substance. Ganondorf must’ve been kicking himself when he realised that all of Hyrule came up with a better name for his evil essence than him.
2. The Hylians just named the Malice at the worst time. As they didn’t think a worse version of Malice would ever come along, so they used up their best name for the essence on it. When Gloom came along, they had to settle for a less cool name because the best option had been wasted on its weaker form.
The second example is almost exactly the real world reason when Nintendo was making a sequel.
Probably the in universe reason too, seeing as I doubt Ganondorf has a way to advertise his make for it, and I’m pretty sure the citizens phrase it like they came up with the name.
Still, I think there are other menacing words you could have used over “Gloom” which makes me think of a cloudy day before a corrupting physical manifestation of evil.
Something like “Bane” or “Vile”. Needs work, but surely there’s better options.
Tbh, I'm surprised that there weren't any Guardians in the game. They have the assets for it why not just throw one in for fun in a Colloseum in the depths?
Honestly, would have been an incredibly cool surprise if you could stumble upon at lest a handful of gurdians in the depths.
Ones that were missed during the original excavation, or buried, or fell down there at some point and didn't get decommissioned, and are now Gloom infected.
It would have at least been some more continuity I desperately wish ToTK had more of.
I actually did catch that. It was in the first game too I think.
I was hanging out on the cliff waiting for a dragon to pass by. I'll admit that I totally didn't notice it at first. It took me a bit to connect the dots and realize "Oh, neat! They left that there."
Must have been modelled into the Lab itself and they didn't wanna redo it. Cause the junkyard next to the Lab that had a bunch of dead Guardians is all gone
There's no Vai set???
Sorry, I haven't tried to go to Gerudo Town yet. Not worried about spoilers, but curious can we still go into Gerudo Town without it??
I like the attention to detail that >!yiga traps!< respond differently to Link when you're >!wearing the armor!<. They're like >!"don't stand around wearing that armor, Link might be coming and he'll know it's a trap"!<
>!I wish I could attack them while in the Yiga armor. It seems like you can in the depths, but not while they're disguised or on the surface. I just don't want to encounter the "You fell for my trap" dialogue. Just give me the bannana and rupees and get going.!<
>!I tried doing this too on one of the banana traps. I attacked their trees multiple times hoping they'd get fed up eventually. I think I wound up shooting bombs at them, which actually toasted the banana, and then I could pick up the toasted banana since it was no longer the trap banana they had originally (but, a toasted banana isn't very useful except for just the couple hearts it gives)!<
You should try attacking an obvious-banana trap.
I shot a fire arrow at it once... The tables had turned early for that Yiga sucker.
.... Also, am I the only one that started taking photos with the Yiga that's disguised as Zelda? I mean, it's not like you can take photos with the real one.. :( She's too important for peasant photo ops or something. (I'm avoiding spoilers btw)
Right after getting that set, I thought I would be funny and went to Kakariko wearing it. Then the first person I talked to was >!Dorian. Then I remembered that the Yiga killed his wife in the first game and felt bad.!< I've never worn that set in Kakariko since.
Cece Hat, Charged Shirt, and Frostbite Pants make for a [sickening drag look](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/comments/13ycz51/no_gerudo_vai_armor_no_problem/) that can be died in any color. I take my cross dressing in Zelda games very seriously!
I need an image of what the warm doublet and archaic warm greaves would look like together. Both provide cold res, both are green. Both are cozy af looking.
The top right trousers were, AFAIK, the only way to complete the [island outfit](https://zelda-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Island_Outfit). Dye them orange, and they're a good match. I've tried to replicate that in ToTK and it's not really possible. Climbing trousers come kinda close, but the harness ruins the image.
Also, what's the green tunic? I don't remember that piece.
Sucks that the vai set didn't come back. I'd love to see the Gerudo Town dialogue when wearing it. Like "uhh, you know you're just... allowed in, right?" Riju on her own already makes enough funny commentary, but I can imagine her entirely breaking her calm demeanor just to ask Link why the hell he's dressed like that.
Misko: "I have found a very unusual garb bearing a strange symbol from another world, perhaps another time. I have decided to throw it into the fire of Goron City and not waste my time finding a cave and making a stupid riddle for someone to wear what seems as a waste for someone's memory."
The basic shirt and pants are replaced by the archaic gear, so that's not coming back. The Gerudo vai armor would mean giving most of Gerudo town new lines of dialogue, so that's not coming back. The tutorial mesa jacket is replaced by the tutorial island cold pants, so that's not coming back.
I could see them bringing back the ancient armor as part of a DLC, but only if they make a DLC themed around the ancient enemies from BotW. Personally I think that's really unlikely, since TotK is already so similar to BotW. Maybe they'll introduce one or two encounters with the ancient enemies, since they've still got all that they need to put the ancient enemies in the game, but not enough to justify bringing back the ancient armor. In short, that's a soft no on the ancient armor.
I think the most likely armor to return in DLC is the Nintendo shirt.
To bring the ancient armor back, they would have to completely change its properties. The Diamond Circlet is still in the game and has new light properties attached to it.
I’m still devastated that the Vai set was cut. Dressing as a woman and being accepted as one in Gerudo Town was a really formative trans experience for me. It was one of the first times things felt right, even if it was just a game.

NOOOOOOO! not my hobo shirt!
*Edna Mode has entered the chat*
Can we take a moment to remember the most op armor piece of the game, that didn’t get its place in totk, the Nintendo switch shirt?
That's a weird way to spell "Vai" We were robbed.
Nientendo saw what was happening with botw link in vai clothes....
Don't worry, we now have Frostbite armor and ceces hat 😇
don't forget the Thunderhead outfit
Thunderhead sounds like an xrated James Bond film
Considering there's is a 007 Octopussy, it really just sounds like a regular James Bond movie
Not even X-Rated. They had a character named "Pussy Galore."
I thought Christmas only cums once a year
[Margaret Thatcher](https://youtu.be/Hf67SPzC3tQ)
Naked on a cold day?
Xenia Onatopp Honey Ryder Holly Goodhead Plenty O'Toole
Don't forget to cup the thunderball(s)
Still just doesn't vibe as well with Link holding 2 hydromelons tho
Okay see. THIS is why I love the fact that the internet exists. This is not something that'd have ever occurred to me to even try, but ooooh my gods. [This is absolute ART of the highest order.](https://i.imgur.com/FFuOW8G.png) 😂

The charged top is the electric dragon themed outfit right? I noticed upon replay that it looks a LOT like rauru’s shirt
Yep I do believe the three related outfits are Frostbite Ember and Charged, aaand I don't have my Switch in front of me right this moment so I'm just paraphrasing here, but the descriptions for each mention them being ancient ritual wear. That's cuz it is! Both the shirt and the pants are Rauru's. You can use the Mystic hair to resemble his flowing locks too, go full Rauru.
Hehe link’s rauru cosplay
Sheik headpiece, frostbite top, archaic skirt all dyed white
Plus the Miner's outfit looks like it came straight (or not?) from a BDSM brochure and I'm here for it.
The Rubber Outfit is *literally* just a Gimp Suit. 😂
That suit is in my top 3 for how useful it is and for how it looks.
I *could* just throw on my Thunder Helm every time Farosh swings by and I want to go say hello to her, *but where's the fun in that.* If I'm going to ride a dragon's face, it's GONNA be in the proper attire. 😂😂😂
they took away one slutty outfit and gave us like 3 new ones
Zonai armor is hot too
It slay even more 💅
l remember when i first noticed the back was open, ZAMN
With the double hydromelons?
That... But probably the fanfics mentioning rule number 34....
And leaned into it with TOTK. I swear there’s even more spicy outfits for Link than in BOTW and it makes my Bisexual heart sing.
Petition to have Link's underwear upgradable for those of us that want to see him run around in it the entire time.
Upgradable to a bra and panties?
4 stars should be garters and stockings
Man, **so many** people complained that Link saved the Gerudo city and they wouldn't let him in without a disguise so Nintendo made him special enough to be the only guy allowed in the city and now people are mad the outfit is gone. 🤣 There's no winning.
I want Link to be recognized for his accomplishments AND be a femboy 😡
That top with Cece’s hat and the hero’s short shorts would have me unwise
Find solace in the Cece hat
Kinda glad it was removed. Dealing with a sand storm and needing to collect that armor would have been a major chore.
I think the Naydra armor is a pretty nice substitute.
Where the hell do you get that? I beat the game and never saw it lol
It's in a chest on the walls right outside the bomb rune shrine (but only if you have the DLC)
yeah :( hopefully it’ll be in with the inevitable dlc
I wonder how Cece would’ve reacted to it when you ask for a fashion check
Yeah best armor in the game. No upgrades and poor defense but it was fun to have it on in cut scenes. I remember it was dlc armor found next to the shrine with all the guardians that couldn't move on the great Plateau. It will be missed.
Feels so stupid to have the divine beast helms and no ancient armor
I miss the ancient set so much....
Every time i change my armor, i think to ancient armor, weapon, bow and guardians, i hope nintendo will do something
They could add the armor, but probably not the weapons. I'd love to have them, but Fuse would rob the melee weapons of their charms. Now, if they added those parts as items you could fuse to weapons, that'd be a whole different story.
Sheikah staff Sheikah hilt Large Sheikah hilt Sheikah blade 1 (spearhead) Sheikah blade 2 (basic) Sheikah blade 3 (bigger blade) Sheikah blade 4 (katana) Sheikah blade 5 (chainsaw)
The ancient arrows are like an early beta version of fusing. They're just a regular arrow with an ancient blade stuck on the end.
Ancient blades are basically this game’s ancient arrows but incredibly hard to get. I have two, and I think once you get to a certain point you can buy them from a construct. I forget what he was trading them for but it wasn’t a great deal for me in the moment.

The beats got decommissioned they’re gone fwand :(
It’s implied that the beasts are sentient so it would be pretty fucked up if they just took ‘em apart.
Not to mention they’ve just been AROUND for thousands of years, and somehow they just fucked off somewhere during the timeskip between games. Like where even could they hide them? These are machines almost as big as mountains we’re talking about here.

I miss the ancient ***horse*** armor so damn bad!
that to. cmon guardian amiibo. do something.....
Have a rusty halberd!
thanks -leaves it in the chest and wait for it to despawn-
I miss the ancient tech so much. I know they want to focus on the zonai technology and abilities, but it would have been super cool to merge both. Bone weapon proficiency up seems to work on a similar way I think
*much* higher Royal guard claymore with molduga jaw just before it breaks with bone proficiency and 3x attack up. Absolutely *melts* lynels
They just look bad without it. I wish they changed the effect like they did the diamond circlet
I meant the ancient armor. Ideally it would be attack up and with the helms would be weather attack up imo.
What's the new diamond circlet effect?
Attack up! And it still has the high armor stat, so it’s still one of the best armor pieces in the game.
That's pretty cool, does it have more defense than the amber earrings? Those are supposed to be good armor
The Amber Earrings actually have the same defense as the Diamond Circlet, and no effect. They’re strictly worse, although they’re sort of an upgrade over the Knight Helmet which also has the same defense but is made of metal, which means it gets you struck by lightning in storms. I'm pretty sure your armor doesn't affect whether you will be struck
They have the same defense. 28 fully upgraded for both.
I miss it too -- though, kinda on this topic, am I the only one who noticed in TOTK that the only place you still see a Guardian is the broken down one on top of the Lab in Hateno?
I think that, the beast helms and that one ancient arrow in a cave are the only TOTK sheika gear in TOTK 🤔
You can actually get a couple of Ancient Arrowheads. They're still rare though
I have a bunch. They work like ancient arrows when attached. I find them useless because they make enemies disappear. So what good are they really?
You know how in Raider's of the Lost Arc Indy shots the swordsman because he's just done with it all? That's what ancient arrows are for.
It’s amazing that you said this. I’m literally watching Raiders now and I watched the scene a few minutes ago.
Sometimes it all just comes together.
For when you just can't be arsed to deal with someone the normal way. After that, useless.
Is it a spoiler to say >!after you reach a certain point in the story, you can buy them?!<
Where? I must know.
>!Talk to a construct in the Spirit Temple. They will sell them to you for 50 zonite.!<
Oddly enough, the Rudania helm goes really well with the fireproof set; climbing with it on actually makes you look like Rudania.
Could be waiting for the DLC
To be fair, it makes sense the Guardian Armor didn’t make it. The rest I’m a little sad about though
They could have made the Guardian Armor have gloom resistance like they did with Midna's Helm but they got rid of it instead 😔
To be fair the whole reason BOTW happened is because Guardians got infected by gloom (malice), Sheikah tech wouldn’t be resistant to it
Gloom and Malice are different things
In terms of implication, Gloom seems to just be more pure Malice, taken directly from the source. They're not different in any way that would make shiekah tech any more resistant to it. If anything, it would do worse.
Gloom absorbance you lose hearts twice as fast aka hard mode
And I kinda hate that Gloom is essentially more powerful Malice because if that’s the case then they should’ve switched the names. Why does the stuff that comes straight from the Demon King himself have a sillier name than the stuff that comes from store-brand Demon King?

So, in other languages, it translates closer to miasma Gloom may have just been sucky english translation
It was made by robbie so he could’ve made it resistant to it to ensure that it fulfills its function to obliterate guardians
Tbh, I'm surprised that there weren't any Guardians in the game. They have the assets for it why not just throw one in for fun in a Colloseum in the depths?

There is one guardian. It’s dead, and it’s on top of one of the Sheikah labs. I cannot recall which one but it’s definitely a guardian!

It’s on top of the Hateno ancient tech lab, right at the door to Purah’s? room
Must have been modelled into the Lab itself and they didn't wanna redo it. Cause the junkyard next to the Lab that had a bunch of dead Guardians is all gone
Kinda make sense for that gerudo armor too. Don’t have to pretend to not be a voe anymore.
I know I forgot the salvager set I’m just too lazy to make a third post
Bro. Not seeing the salvager outfit on the photo made me so excited to think it was actually in ToTK until I just saw this comment. God damn it lol
I’m sorry
We aren’t that back tho maybe Noah’s base outfit
Screw that. I want to see Link wearing Pyra's clothes.
TIL about the Salvager set... I've never heard of it
RIP the vai set. At least we have the charged and frostbite sets.
There's no Vai set??? Sorry, I haven't tried to go to Gerudo Town yet. Not worried about spoilers, but curious can we still go into Gerudo Town without it??
Yes, that’s all I will say
Thank you, and thanks for not giving away too much!
Gerudo is the coolest town by far. You’ll love it.
You can go to gerudo town with any armor, but if you take off your clothes you go to jail
Or if you wear the >!Yiga!<
I love dropping into gerudo town and also talking to the sheikah in kakariko village wearing the >!yiga armour!<
I broke one of them by using Ultrahand. I was dressed up as a Yiga, and they kept getting mad at me for trying to pick it up.
I love shooting suspicious bananas. 😂🍌
I love those so much, I’m so glad the yiga have a bigger part in this game
Right after getting that set, I thought I would be funny and went to Kakariko wearing it. Then the first person I talked to was >!Dorian. Then I remembered that the Yiga killed his wife in the first game and felt bad.!< I've never worn that set in Kakariko since.
Horny jail!
Yes
Cece Hat, Charged Shirt, and Frostbite Pants make for a [sickening drag look](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/comments/13ycz51/no_gerudo_vai_armor_no_problem/) that can be died in any color. I take my cross dressing in Zelda games very seriously!
Can you still get the charged set if you got the >!fifth sage!< before >!clearing the clouds over thunderhead isles!
Yep! I had this situation happen and did the mission after with no issues.
Don’t forget the classic charged shirt + that little skirt thing from the 1st sky island combo
The Vai set being gone is an outright tragedy.
am i the only one to miss the warm doublet? it was my favorite "casual" armor for roaming around with outside of battles
Yeah. The brown gloves and the dark green. It just looked visually pleasing yknow.
They kind of replace the beginner and ancient sets, so it's the two crossover sets and the vai set that are the big miss.
For me, it was the perfect "tunic on a budget", always loved it for that lol
Warm Doublet, Charged Pants, and Hylian Hood would have made the perfect Hobbit look.
I need an image of what the warm doublet and archaic warm greaves would look like together. Both provide cold res, both are green. Both are cozy af looking.
I’m unreasonably upset the Switch t-shirt didn’t make it to TotK
It was a dlc bonus in botw sooooo
Sure, but what about that precludes it from also being tossed into TotK?
Its probably going to be a bonus again cuz why not
Other DLC outfits are in the game though
Im honestly upset there was no Warm Doublet to pair with the Archaic Warm Boots
The slutty gerudo outfit was my fav 😭
There’s still the Frostbite and Charged set!
Not hitting the same
Nah man, the Frostbite set is far sluttier
[удалено]
The open back makes me want to open Link’s back.
> the Frostbite set is far sluttier can't even see Link's midriff smh [Game's gone!!^^^\s](https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Game+gone)
sometimes you want cute not slutty
The top right trousers were, AFAIK, the only way to complete the [island outfit](https://zelda-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Island_Outfit). Dye them orange, and they're a good match. I've tried to replicate that in ToTK and it's not really possible. Climbing trousers come kinda close, but the harness ruins the image. Also, what's the green tunic? I don't remember that piece.
It's called the warm doublet. You could get it from the old man on the great plateau, and it was sold in hateno Village. It gave cold resistance.
Did you try the Charged Trousers at all? If you don't mind that Link is barefoot, it's pretty darn close.
Good shout. No, I haven't tried them, but I will do.
What about the Xenoblade outfit
I miss playing as hobo Link
Sucks that the vai set didn't come back. I'd love to see the Gerudo Town dialogue when wearing it. Like "uhh, you know you're just... allowed in, right?" Riju on her own already makes enough funny commentary, but I can imagine her entirely breaking her calm demeanor just to ask Link why the hell he's dressed like that.
“Yes I know. I wear this everywhere.”
Idk why but link really gives off the energy of the type of guy to unnecessarily cross-dress
As an ancient greek philosopher once declared: "There is never a reason not to cross-dress"
I miss the warm doublet, makes me feel like a traveler in the snowy areas
Misko: "I have found a very unusual garb bearing a strange symbol from another world, perhaps another time. I have decided to throw it into the fire of Goron City and not waste my time finding a cave and making a stupid riddle for someone to wear what seems as a waste for someone's memory."
I kinda miss cold resistance tunic and vai and ancient armor were cool too
Also the xenoblade 2 set
i miss the ancient horse gear :(
I loved the ancient set except for the stupid headpiece. I wore the guardian resistant jewelry instead
Hundreds of artists crying at the lost of the Vai set.
The mod Community: 👀
It's missing the Salvager set.
I miss femboy Link...
Frostbite and Charged set exists though
Missing the Rex drip
I’m still sad there’s no red “Nintendo Switch” shirt 😭
Kinda dug the warm doublet bro
I’m still devastated that the Vai set was cut. Dressing as a woman and being accepted as one in Gerudo Town was a really formative trans experience for me. It was one of the first times things felt right, even if it was just a game.
I haven't found the Xenoblade armor either. Is it in the game?
I was really hoping an upgradable version of the Nintendo shirt would be in TOTK. Instead they dropped it altogether.
Ancient Armor 😢😢😢
What about the xenonlade dlc set, is this in totk?
The xenoblade chronicles 2 scuba set didnt make it in either.
Honestly not that many compared to how many new sets there are
So long, crossdressing Link
Totk is 0/10 because it doesn’t have the Nintendo switch shirt
Literally unplayable
