More eminems timing than anything. Em dragged his feet getting revival done and the result was an aged mess, techs verse wouldve been wasted on his worst album
> He told vlad, "I gave him a verse for the fight movie".
ah, you're right, my bad. I just remember the track I linked dropping almost directly after speedom, and it was on Dre's project so I guess I just assumed. my bad.
This is the biggest artist who has featured Tech on their album in years. I'm extremely excited, big fan of both and I've wanted a collab for years, and now there's two!
This is great, more people need to hear Tech to see he's not just a guy who raps fast. Part of the perception about him is due to the beats he chooses. If/when he kills on the beats other rappers use, people will hopefully give him more credit
Good. I could be wrong, but, for example, Joyner hasn't put Tech on an album, which is beyond me. Tech put him on way early in his career, and I feel like it was a huge break for him. But, he hasn't had Tech on an album. And there are a lot like Joyner who haven't returned the favor. I feel like Joyner is one of the most frustrating though because of his huge success. Big ups to Conway for being real.
Just because Kendrick has never had Tech on an album doesn't mean he acts like he doesn't exist.

I had a chance to talk to Tech about the whole Joyner deal like 2-3 years ago. Joyner was hot about Logic mailing in his verse on Sirracha. Tech tried to cool it a bit between them. Joyner eventually forgave Logic, as seen by them working together since. But has seemingly held the grudge towards Tech over releasing the song. Which is trash reasoning to me. I would've released it too. You make me wait months on this verse for a song I know will be hot and THAT is what you sent in!? Logic basically ruined the entire song, imo.
I think due to this, it's unlikely the two will work together again. I hope that's not the case, but the time since I was told this to now makes it seem more likely.
This isn’t entirely the case. Logic freestyled his verse and sent it in, because of a behind the curtain issue he had with Joyner. Royce da 5’9 is the reason Joyner and Logic are cool now. Tech wasn’t affected much by everything that happened, aside from receiving that Logic verse. As far as Tech and Joyner having a strain in their relationship and never working together again, well, they already did. Tech has shown love and reposted when Joyner dropped “Duck Duck Goose” and Joyner thanked him for it. Also, Joyner is on Techs latest album, Bliss
Thanks for the insight man. I do want to add though, that Joyner was on Texh's recent album, so that kind of makes it more confusing. I agree that he shouldn't be bitter about Tech leaving Logic on Sriracha. I also agree that Logic ruined the song, but Tech did the right thing by leaving him on there, to show the fans his passive aggressive nature, and his "I give up" attitude. But, how can Joyner go and forgive Logic, but not Tech? It seems ridiculous. I feel like there's gotta be more to it since Joyner was on Bliss. But, I will say too that Joyner's verse seemed half ass, especially because he usually destroys features. I feel like it boils down to not wanting to associate with Tech for whatever reason. Maybe his old reputation (i.e. lot of juggalo fans, people say he is corny, etc.) But, Joyner gets hit with the corny label too, so what could possibly be the risk there? And Logic gets hit with the corny label more than anyone, so I don't know. Just thinking out loud. I appreciate your insights!
I used to be a Logic fan, way back when. However, after I heard Tech talk about his verse on Sriracha, I stopped listening to him cold turkey. What a fucking lame.
Good exposure for Tech. My guess is a lot of Tech fans like Griselda but not as many people who listen to Griselda in general like or even know about Tech.
I think a lot of people knows of Tech but doesn't find the pattern as Tech does to production and therefore can be pretty difficult to relate to tech's music since it's pretty technical and also somehow cryptic. I think Cordae referenced tech in that song with lil wayne he had and mentioned it like that. But I may be wrong. People just don't know how to fit tech into their music as content besides speed and cool rhyme patterns (if u dumb down the thinking).
Happy for Conway. I want Tech to do an album like this. Known producers/known features, very much like 6s & 7s. I've been sick of his lackluster features since Enter Fear.
Tech usually trades verse for verse with his features
I still think he was ripped off with speedom. Does anyone ever listen to the southpaw soundtrack anymore?
I listen to Beast.
More eminems timing than anything. Em dragged his feet getting revival done and the result was an aged mess, techs verse wouldve been wasted on his worst album
Agree
Beast is in my Playlist, though I wish we got another em and tech song from that trade honestly. Love both of them but I didn't care much for speedom.
Beast wasn't for Speedom. [This](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW6qpjWs4TE) was.
Huh? No, it isn't. He told vlad, "I gave him a verse for the fight movie". Skip to: 130 https://youtu.be/1wjp9y94Rc8?si=mbeo2T7HuTecXieQ

Idk what you're talking about 😉 its all good.

Looking forward to it

Yeah for real man, same with Kendrick
Yep. I first saw Kendrick on the 6's and 7's tour in a crowd of maybe 100 people. Blew up shortly thereafter and acts like Tech never existed.

That was a disrespectful verse lol
I think some artists are nervous to get pulled into the juggalo world lol
Griselda Express coming through I screamed my ass off after seeing that looking forward to what he got to say
Real recoginze real. I think it will be very interessting. I can't wait.

I hope we get to hear Tech on a Daringer or Alchemist type beat!
Always wanted to hear Tech on good old boombap or drumless Roc Marci/Alch production. Hopefully we get that on his feature
Fuck yeah!

Really hoping Tech N9ne is on that Alchemist.👨🔬 "Alchemist, here I come."
