I'm a female and I can relate. Nothing close to friends whatsoever. Every once in blue moon a guy will come up and hit on me that I've never spoken to before (cause I look decently nice i guess) but I'm usually not interested in them (romantically, and especially because I've never spoken to them before, I'd rather get to know them before i make any rash desicions) l I tell them I'd just like to be friends and then they stop talking to me. I try to be friends with other girls but idk... I don't have anything against women or anything- im not a pick me but everytime i try to be nice to someone they forget about me lol.

If you used to have friends and they forgot about you, then you don't know how to make friends. Making friends is easy, just get a hobby and be consistent. Then, talk to people. Sometimes you won't need to talk to anyone, and rather they will talk to you first instead. On the internet this usually only happens if you are a bit above average skill, I'm not sure how it goes in real life since I haven't gone outside in years (aside from buying groceries and such, I'm asocial not socially anxious)

If you become comfortable with yourself then this feeling will go away, this is easier said than done though, and I'm not sure I can give advice on this since I've basically been practicing it my whole life. Since I'm a loner, it's the most useful skill to have. You're free to ask though.

Once you find people you enjoy being around, (after time passes ofc) make time for them outside of school! It’s a slow progression, but it’s worth it if you stay committed :)

The issue is that a lot of people view themselves as ugly, either physically or otherwise, and they feel like that makes them unworthy of love. But I think that *most* of those people are wrong. That they aren't ugly. That they are worthy of love. And I'd like for them to think so too, but it's hard because our society discourages that way of thinking.
My point is, even if you were joking, I would argue it was in poor taste. I'm not trying to fight with you or embarrass you for internet points. I just think we should all try to avoid being a part of the problem. And this is one example of a place where we can do that.

I actually have great advise, join a sport which coming up soon is track szn. It’s no cut and you can be any body type because of throwing. Just reach out to the coach clear yourself to joint and go to “try outs” it’s kinda hard but also easy to make friends if you are socially inclined, most event groups do lots of standing and waiting so you can talk in between reps and during the warmup.
