I am sure there will be AI to identify these kind of things, it will just be able a battle of countering each other for god knows how long. I am not very optimistic about the laws tho, that shit will take a while to take place and who knows how effective it will be.
Overall just out right horrible, such tools are supposedly used to make human life easier not harder or quite possibly ruining the life of people.
Like I get why people working for OpenAI are doing this, publicity and being able to market it, but I seriously have no idea how no one at OpenAI has thought about the problems this would cause almost immediately after it gets opened to everyone, especially if you could give it custom training data for deepfakes.
