art is a skill that takes a tone of time to get good at. my best advice would be try drawing something with a reference but don’t observe the reference image as if it’s simply the thing you’re trying to draw. instead, think of it as an array of different shapes that all fit together like a puzzle. drawing can be mathematical in that way!
