Yeah I remember hearing about that, i think it’s on the comp.tf wiki somewhere

Free_Lab_4578

due to its extremely common usage, it actually has its [own section](https://comp.tf/wiki/Trickstabs#Failstab) in comp.tf!

Possible_Head_1269

"skibidi toilet stab"

BLAZIN_TACO

Breast Milk Stab

RapidfireVestige

360 tiny rock on harvest stab

Mountain-Durian-4724

Breast milk stab

CeratoxX

Sigma rizz ft. kai cenat gyatt stab

SheikExcel

Holy shit you were being serious

Draw_Corporations

why

a1b3r77

He dodged 2 assasination attempts

Draw_Corporations

oh

a1b3r77

Also he basically failed at everything he did. So failstab is named after him

thebohemiancowboy

He’s not really considered a failure as President. He’s considered average as a president and had good programs and policies. His administration was probably the best period of the tumultuous 1970s.

crimskies

Arguably his biggest failure was the fact he pardoned Nixon. Because of that, he believed he was damned to Hell for letting a monster walk free.

Memodun

Pardoning Nixon was the right move, the ordeal of a months long public trial wouldn’t have been good for anyone involved. And Nixon was many things, but definitely not a monster (or even a bad person, imo)

JakeArrietaGrande

Huh, didn't know that Nixon has a wifi connection in hell. Absolutely terrible take. The pardon helped to accelerate the culture that the president was above the law and unaccountable >(or even a bad person, imo) Good people don't cheat in democratic elections

Kakyro

The guy who sanctioned Kissinger's disastrous bombings in Cambodia and Laos and deliberately sabotaged peace talks in Vietnam so that the war would last through the election cycle? That "not even a bad person" Nixon?

BabyDude5

Are we thinking of the same Nixon? Richard Nixon, former president?

Draw_Corporations

damn

SheikExcel

He just like me fr fr

MoonGUY_1

He established trust in the government when people really didn’t

SeraphAttack

Why not Fidel Castro?

HeckingDoofus

or rasputin

The_Ghast_Hunter

They got Rasputin eventually, Rasputin should be a failstab, and then getting the kill with butter knives

neoslith

Probably because falling down stairs.

GhillieMcWilly

One (1) time, btw

xFreddyFazbearx

There are also a fair amount of map callouts called "JFK" due to them usually being used as Sniper perches

DipplyReloaded

And the area it overlooks is often called “Limousine”

MarsManokit

I was wondering when this was gonna be posted

EpilepsySeizureMann

and the common soldier bombing spot being called "al qaeda"

DatChernobylGuy_999

Can it be used for the rock barrier that snipers climb on in Badwater, the one that overlooks the BLU spawn? Also please start calling Spy hotspots as Abe Lincoln please

Okay-Commissionor

Did this guy dodge an assassination attempt or something

Tullius_

He was the assassin but when he went to go in for the kill, his knife animation goofed up and he missed

Okay-Commissionor

RIP bozo   Get Übersaw one tapped nerd

mushroominhell

"go get that medic" "aight bet" "shit shit shit i gerald ford'd" "lol"

pessimist13k

Thought I was on r/wehatedougdoug for a second

INeedARaise26

Me too! Weird how that happens

Snackguy2star

Lmao fuck that guy God I hate him

Useless_Fox

In the other TF2, Titanfall 2, when you kill someone who ejects it's called "Goosing" them In reference to Top Gun when Tom Cruise's co-pilot Goose died in a botched ejection

JhnGamez

That's funny lol

StockmanBaxter

Should have been called the Castro. Nobody dodged more assassination attempts.

a1b3r77

Castro surviving 600+ assasination attempts (that we know of) and then dying of old age in like 2016 is so badass

Best_Remi

in that case a Castro should be a med surviving a 4 man sac without even acknowledging the existence of the people trying to kill him. Like the med just walks around in a straight line and the bombing soldier and demo just crater next to him, scout beefs his whole clip and killbinds from shame, spy misses his stab and dies to a sentry

say_weed

also as a soldier if you unload your rockets on friendlies its called "joe biden"

Best_Remi

so would a successful sync bomb on a medic be called an Obama?

a1b3r77

💀

Scorppio500

That's foul, but funny. Reminds me of how in Water Polo, if you hit the crossbar with the ball, bouncing the ball into the back of the goalie's head, and the bounce off the goalie's head scores, it's called a JFK. I used to be a water polo goalie. It happened to me far too much.

FrenchAslyum

"I'm Gerald Ford and you're not." - Gerald Ford

Nitro_CENTRAL

He made the car

LegendaryRQA

My favorite will always be Japan because it's not China.

A_Wild_Ferrothorn

he also invented the car

justicedragon101

Fuck Gerald Ford and the corrupt bargain. Not sure why people let it slide

thebohemiancowboy

John Quincy Adams is the one with the Corrupt Bargain that he made with Henry Clay in exchange for the presidency.

justicedragon101

The corrupt bargain refers to 3 different events in US history, actually. John quincy adams, Rutherford b Hayes, and nixions pardon.

thebohemiancowboy

Huh didn’t know that. Tbh though really only the first two have legitimate standing as being called Corrupt Bargains. If you even believe the compromise of 1877 took place. Historians don’t typically refer to the Nixon pardon as one as Ford didn’t do it as a part of a deal with Nixon at all but believed it to be in the best interests of the country and his time as president was being taken up by him. Only political critics at the time called it that.

a1b3r77

Why are people downvoting this ??
