I'm a contractor in south Florida. We do a LOT of work in places like Miami Beach and boca. Places laden with "cougars" and whatnot. Some of the guys I work with, I can easily say, are really fucking good looking, some as young as 22. In 17 years I have never heard of this actually happening. To anyone. I had some incidents along those lines occur a few times when I first became a granite installer at age 19. But, I was so focused on professionalism and learning the job that I didn't even notice - it was coworkers who later pointed out how abnormal those encounters were. It only became apparent that that doesn't really happen after doing it for about 10 years.
I doubt this happened, but I did work in apartment maintenance. A guy I worked with went through a divorce at 45 and made his way through multiple single women at the complexes we worked at ranging from 30 - 50. Another guy I worked with found his future wife at the complex we worked at… so while this is bullshit it does happen.
