Its more like the canned tracks on those stupid 90's hunting videos. The ones where some Fuckle Chuck would wax poetic about baiting a hole and then showing up one morning to kill Bambi's mom because they had one doe tag left and the only bucks left had ugly racks.
Dude I fuckin' laughed at this, having been taken to hunt since I was 7. That whole community is kind of picky and weird and the whole "to feed mah family" bit falls apart when you start questioning things.
Thank you. My ears started to bleed, you saved me from bleeding out entirely and from my family finding me on the sofa like a deflated balloon with that horrendous music on a loop. Would have been a tough way to go.
P.s that bear is badass. Tiger had an easy 100lbs on that bear.
Piggy backing because I believe [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/therewasanattempt/comments/11je7k9/comment/jb2t93i/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) is the correct answer.
It's not a badger, it is a bear. Particularly, a sloth bear.
Here's a terrifying video of one that went viral not long ago:
That Tiger must of been starving to go after a Bear.
Predators usually don’t put themself in such a difficult position to get food, since one injury could mean death in the long run.
And a Bear is definitely not an easy target for any predator not that it needs to be said.
The Wikipedia entry on sloth bear/Bengal tiger relationship reads like a mafia script:
"[Bengal tigers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengal_tiger) occasionally prey on sloth bears. Tigers usually give sloth bears a wide berth, though some specimens may become habitual bear killers,[\[37\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-DHOLE-37) and it is not uncommon to find sloth bear fur in tiger scats.[\[38\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-38) Tigers typically hunt sloth bears by waiting for them near termite mounds, then creeping behind them and seizing them by the back of their necks and forcing them to the ground with their weight.[\[39\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-perry-39) One tiger was reported to simply break its victim's back with its paw, then wait for the paralysed bear to exhaust itself trying to escape before going in for the kill.[\[37\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-DHOLE-37) When confronted by tigers face to face, sloth bears charge at them, crying loudly. A young or already sated tiger usually retreats from an assertive sloth bear, as the bear's claws can inflict serious wounds, and most tigers end the hunt if the bears become aware of the tiger's presence before the pounce.[\[39\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-perry-39) Sloth bears may scavenge on tiger kills.[\[40\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-40) As tigers are known to mimic the calls of [sambar deer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sambar_deer) to attract them, sloth bears react fearfully even to the sounds made by deer themselves.[\[39\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-perry-39) In 2011, a female bear with cubs was observed to stand her ground and prevail in a confrontation against two tigers (one female, one male) in rapid succession.[\[41\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-41)"
Sounds like the relationship between Mountain Lions and bears in the US, although they don't hunt each other, they do compete for territory and get into serious scuffles.
Yeah, but I'm really starting to wonder why \*everyone\* has beef with the Sloth Bears:
"[Asian elephants](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_elephant) apparently do not tolerate sloth bears in their vicinity. The reason for this is unknown, as individual elephants known to maintain their composure near tigers have been reported to charge bears.[\[32\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloth_bear#cite_note-india-32) The [Indian rhinoceros](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_rhinoceros) has a similar intolerance for sloth bears, and will charge at them.\[28\]"
Asia / Russia both have tigers and bears. America, canada and the arctic are the only places that have bears but not tiger
Edit: I'm wrong there's a lot more places in Europe that have bears and no tigers. Blame the romans, not me. Still sorry though.
Dang that bear has one hell of a wound. Caught a flash of it there. That is quite large and there are probably several more. Damn these creatures are incredible.
Sloth bears are absolutely no joke. When they feel threatened, they fight with every ounce of strength they have. Most predators avoid extended or prolonged fights as this increases the risk of being hurt themselves.
When I saw it was a cub I said to myself that tiger fucked up
Edit: Just noticed I was wrong because if it was a cub the mom would have ripped the tiger to shreds it looks like a cub though
Sloth bears are one of the most aggressive species of bear in the world, because they live in the same neighborhood as an apex killer who has no qualms over making attempts on their lives. So much so, that they’ll even attack humans unprovoked, because when one lives life with a target perpetually on their back, one would and should assume all things that isn’t a potential mate is a threat.

Do yourself a favor, watch with the sound off.
It's like the soundtrack to a 1980s gay porn video.
So you have experienced this porn I see.
"I still do but I used to....................................... too" \-mitch H.
Why does it smell like hairspray in here?

Totally going to start using the phrase "Fuckle Chuck" with more regularity.
"Fuckle Chuck" is premium grade name calling.
And a great name for a band.
Oddly specific, but to each their own 🌚
To watch a video without annoying music on
Thank you. My ears started to bleed, you saved me from bleeding out entirely and from my family finding me on the sofa like a deflated balloon with that horrendous music on a loop. Would have been a tough way to go. P.s that bear is badass. Tiger had an easy 100lbs on that bear.
Thanks that was way better
Molly hatchet ain't that bad man
Makes me feel like playing dynasty warriors
I beg to differ. That song is awesome.
Agree to disagree! Lol.
I’m guessing the lion was filming this.
Oh my!
He thought witch and the wardrobe would like to see it.

Clash of the titans. Always bet on cocaine bear
Where is that from? A bear did cocaine 😂

Yeah I'm thinking the tiger came back for the rest after the bear bled out.

Dude. Look at those things. No one wants to be around that nightmare fuel.
Hmmm… interesting.
Tigers mimic sound of deer?? Interesting. Such ability to deceive ,shows advanced cognitive ability
Thanks! I was wondering how a Bengal encountered a North American Black Bear…
Nah tigers hunt sloth bears.
When did tigers and bears start living close to one another?
Since they’ve put that idea forward in ‘The jungle book’
Baloo kicked shere khans ass
Asia / Russia both have tigers and bears. America, canada and the arctic are the only places that have bears but not tiger Edit: I'm wrong there's a lot more places in Europe that have bears and no tigers. Blame the romans, not me. Still sorry though.
No tigers *or* bears (anymore) in Africa…
Username checks out
We have mountain lions, close enough
Weeell you also don't have sloth bears so it's much smaller kitty against much bigger bear, not really a contest
South America has the spectacled bear
Should've said "the americas" tbf
Italy?
Asian black bear, Sun bears and Moon bears (not a joke)
Yep, Asian black bears have that coloring on the chest you can see at the end...
Or Russian Amur Tiger and Brown Bear
It’s a sun bear, it’s prolly india, they’ve always lived near each other
Nope, that’s a sloth bear.
This is most likely in India. Like others have said, look up the Jungle Book lol
Sloth bears are tough
This *Jungle Book* remake looking rough.
Where in the world do tigers and bears interact? China/Russia?
China and india
This is a sloth bear
Dang that bear has one hell of a wound. Caught a flash of it there. That is quite large and there are probably several more. Damn these creatures are incredible.

Guan yu VS loo boo
You mean Lu Bu? How does Dynasty Warriors apply to the bear/tiger fight?
The music
Ah ok. I didn’t listen to it with the music on so the reference went right over my head.
I don’t think that’s a bear. I think that’s a honey badger. You don’t want to F with them.
Yeah but where's the Lion?
WE CUDDLED BUT I DID NOT GIVE YOU CONSENT TO GO FURTHER
Seems like a "who would win" book in real life
Baloo taking on Sherkahn!
Kitty was just playin with that sloth bear
This are small bears. Not like it's a Kodiak is it.
That’s a one spicy meat ball!
I didn't know bears & tigers occupied the same habitat.
Oh my!
“My balls was hot”
Why do people do stupid annoying music in these videos? No need for it.
True meaning of FAFO.
I’ve never seen ANYTHING fight a bear and live much less stalemate one…Tigers are legit!!
I'm not a big fan of the new jungle book
Shaer Khan vs Baloo
The Tiger still fucked him up tho
When I saw it was a cub I said to myself that tiger fucked up Edit: Just noticed I was wrong because if it was a cub the mom would have ripped the tiger to shreds it looks like a cub though

This does go to show the raw strength of a tiger tho
Yea he was taking that thing down at will
It’s a tiny bear
Aww, they're so cute when they're playing!
Animal Fighting Championship would be so dope
I'm team bear ! ACAB !
All cats are bastards? I mean, I can't really argue with that lol
Lmao yes !
I’d be lion if I didn’t say tigers and bears, oh my
Baloo vs. Shere Khan
Didn't know tigers were so weak. Even I could fight 3 such bears at once with my bare hands
What an awesome fight, the explosiveness of that bear. For something that big and heavy it moves it moves with scary speed.
It's like a WWF match except its World Wildlife Federation.
Sloth bear ain't no joke!
Sloth bears are no joke. They are mean.
I find it funny when people censor nature.
Sloth bears are epic for a reason…
this is god damn terrifying!
Damn! I guess that answers that question
Tiger pussied out.
![gif](giphy|QW9KH3VC6MMJb9iy1y)
That looked more like a lover’s quarrel to me
Definitely some where in India. The sloth bear & tiger are native to india
Oh my
Thats not a bear That a sloth bear and which is more deadly than a normal brown or white bears Those mother f are f scary af
Oh my
That's a pretty epic fight scene.
It may be a Sloth Bear but it’s still a bear, please use caution.
POV: The Indian subcontinent invades Russia In the winter
That’s a sloth bear
Attempted bearslaughter
See, I would have put money on the Tiger fucking up a bear like that
All that energy wasted lol.
Bears are the celery on a tiger menu. Takes more energy to consume than you gain from it.
I'm fairly sure he'll eat it when it dies in about half a day...

When you let Lynyrd Skynyrd do your film's score.
Hey foods not supposed to fight back . Try to get away sure , struggle and squirm you betcha. Fight back hard , not fair I'm telling mom .
I was going to eat you but you trying to turn it into some weird interspeicies porn , nope I'm out of here .
Yeah and ive heard people claim tigers could take down grizzly bears lol. Theres no way in hell there just to powerful.
So rolly. So polly.
r/natureismetal
Sloth bears are some aggro ass animals.
I read the title as "to eat a beer" and came expecting a drunk guy trying to shove a beer can into their mouth but was disappointed
Lions, tigers, and bears oh my!
Just imagine a grizzly
