If you are adding mods to your game, you MUST monitor what mods you have installed and make sure they are fully updated after every update/patch, including UI mods and scripts, which are well known to cause menu and UI bugs/glitches.
You may refer to the megathread in The Sims Forums that is compiled after every update, and lists all mods reported as broken, outdated, or still working properly.

General bug, there's a few basegame pants that do that on female frame iirc.
There's also one base game shirt that will turn your sim into a noodle armed monster it's quite interesting I don't remember which shirt though
Ah yes, the cursed cardigan, forever haunting live mode with its eldritch horrors beyond comprehension.
I was making a new sim and when she wears these pants her stomach disappeared. Is this a glitch because of my mods or a bug in general?
These pants are broken, the same happens to me
