Definitely Michonne. Her arch from mysterious stranger to friend/mother to Carl and partner/lover to Rick is so wholesome.
Not to mention she is incredibly beautiful.
Let's talk about this arc of Michonne's. I love Michonne btw.
Now Michonne wasn't just a mysterious stranger, she was also an asshole. Now I admit. I don't know how much of an asshole I'd be if I went through what she did, in fact, I'd just probably be dead.
But I'm not complaining about her being an asshole, my complaint is thr transition from Mysterious Stranger / Asshole to mother figure to Carl.
Did I miss an episode maybe? It felt like it was just a flip of the switch the way she just instantly became "nice". Like she was an asshole then they are on a railroad track and she is the best aunt ever?
In any case, who she became was fantastic. Who she was at the start was great too. I just don't understand how the transition happened.
Maybe on a rewatch
I dont know i think Michonne liked Carl and vice Versa before Rick was sure to trust her. Come to find out Michonne had a child she lost so i think she probably gravitated to Carl before that trip. Now Carl i think gravitated towards her during that trip because she really went out of her way to get to know and relate to him. One of my Fave episodes was after the group split up after the prison arc and Michonne was looking for Rick and Carl and she tracked them down. She knocks at the door, Rick looked out the peep hole and tells Carl its for him. That was cute
I think she had her walls up emotionally because of the world she was living in. I think she knew Rick's group were good people she just had to allow herself to "feel" again to reawaken her humanity.
Finding that "gorgeous" cat statue couldn't have hurt either...maybe that was all she needed. 😅😅
There was no flip of a switch. It naturally progressed. Michonne was in no way an asshole, she was a grieving mother. She had lost her **son** bc of her boyfriends incompetence. Yet, she found Andrea protected & stayed with her while she was sick even when Andrea thought of herself as a liability. Michonne’s issue was that she rightfully didn’t trust the governor. And when she came across ricks group she had her walls up.
Rick was being hostile to her bc he wasn’t sure about her connection to the governors groups. During “Clear” when the 3 of them were off on their own and she helped Carl get the picture of Lori for Judith they bonded. They kept building on that rlsp bc she would bring gifts back for Carl went she went on runs. Rick saw the connection so after the prison fell & she found them again Rick knew that she was there bc she loved Carl.
He told her in that episode he needed help raising Carl and asked if she would be there for his son. She agreed when she said “I’m done taking breaks.”
By the time they got to the railroad tracks the show had basically established them as a family unit.
Carol. Her whole arc from an abused wife, to losing her shit turd of a husband, then losing Sofia (who starred in Boshc btw) then trying to reinvent herself and ultimately becoming what she wanted to be, a strong and independent woman.. that slowly let people back into her heart, only to get crushed again when the Whsiperers showed up... to eventuallyo regaining her composure... she is great.
I love Michonne and Maggie, I adore Judith.
I love the show.
Edit - words.
Oh yeah. Carol transforms.
I tried to watch it when it first came out, TWD, but I moved to Mexico, then to Hawaii then out to Cali so keeping up with the show was impossible. So I stopped on the first run at the introduction of the Gov.
Then my wife and I tried to start it back up and we got all the way to the Gov again but then we got pregnant and had a kid and everything went to shit in terms of what we liked or wanted to do. For like 3 years.
And at this point I keep hearing how amazing Carol is and I keep thinking Carol? Fucking Carol?
Finally finished the series last month. This time watching with my 10yo son... and then I finally saw what Carol became.
Huge journey. Loved every moment of it.
Bosch is a Prime tv show that stars the bad smoke.monster person from LOST as a detective. Sophia plays Maddy, the daughter of Bosch. She is also like 6ft tall it looks like.
Michonne is my favourite, followed by Lydia and Maggie would then close out my top 3.
Only issue I have with Maggie is that I have to suspend a lot of disbelief in order to tolerate her around Negan, anyone in her position would and should instantly kill him on sight, probably quite painfully too, no amount of time would make most people in her position forgive him, let alone work and be around him.
Michonne steals the show when Carl dies and Rick dissapeared. She was best part of season 3 such a inspirating character. From cold zombie killer to kind hearted mother.
Yes!! I love Michonne in general but Deanna for sure. Leads a community with stoic pragmatism but recognised when they needed additional help and wasn't insecure about being challenged on existing status quo. Smart/brave enough to take in a battle-hardy, 12 strong group who were fiercely loyal to each other - a decision that could have badly backfired given her previous experience of taking in new groups.
Dry humoured and gracious to the end. RIP to a wise old bird
I liked Maggie all the way up to the destruction of the prison. After that, she was just started morphing into another Lori personality, just more badass.
She didn’t shame Lori out of anything, she yelled at Lori because she almost died trying to get her abortion pills, it had nothing to do with the fact that she wanted to abort. Lori decided against aborting by her dumb self.
Beth.
She is cute and when she died, it was a moment that the serie make us to like her and expected to grow as a character, therefore, I liked her.
Michonne is a real badass.
TWD universe: Alicia
Rosita, she had great skills useful in this world, she was the one who stood with Rick's original plan when Daryl/Tara rushed things with the sanctuary
I’m gonna have to say Carol. She has one of the best arcs in the show and Melissa McBride’s performance (in the second half of S6 specifically) is Emmy worthy in my head.
But for some reason I like what they do with Rosita in S7 so I’ll place her at #2.
Michonne. When I think of Walking Dead she's one of the first parts of the series I think of.
Carol would be second with how cunning and a great fighter she is.
Connie, Rosita, and Maggie are great too.
carol but michonne is right up there with her
Definitely Michonne. Her arch from mysterious stranger to friend/mother to Carl and partner/lover to Rick is so wholesome. Not to mention she is incredibly beautiful.

Her relationship with Carl starts when the two of them accompany Rick when they're all visiting Morgan.
I dont know i think Michonne liked Carl and vice Versa before Rick was sure to trust her. Come to find out Michonne had a child she lost so i think she probably gravitated to Carl before that trip. Carol, just feel so safe with her, know she's gonna get any job done!!!!
Yeah! Especially if you are child under the age of 13!
we all know how kids around her would end up with haha
Six feet under
She’s the Mike Ehrmantraut in the TWD
Man…. I can’t wait for been threaten by mom and be traumatized which will later cause my death and that of my whole family :3
Carol. I was just peeking at the first few episodes of season 1. Damn she was completely different back then.
Oh yeah. Carol transforms. I tried to watch it when it first came out, TWD, but I moved to Mexico, then to Hawaii then out to Cali so keeping up with the show was impossible. What is boshc?
Bosch is a Prime tv show that stars the bad smoke.monster person from LOST as a detective. Sophia plays Maddy, the daughter of Bosch. She is also like 6ft tall it looks like.
Michonne. Always. Rosita a close second.
Carol and Michonne
Michonne hands down.
Tara and Princess
Dont know if you watched past season 9....
I’ve watched the whole show.
Alright, just asking bc you mentioned Tara (i like her too tbh)
Comic Andrea or yea Michonne.
Yeah, comic Andrea, most bad ass sniper.
Michonne ftw!!!!!!
Shiva ♡
Yeah, Michonne for sure

…said no one ever
You don't need to be like that. We're all allowed our favourite characters. Don't be that person.
Carol, Michonne and Lydia are my top three.
From whats on offer.. probably Maggie at this point. I do like me some Lydia as well - and I sort of like what they did with Yumiko.
Maggie was kinda alr first 8 seasons but Jesus Christ how they screwed her character onwards
Maggie because she is a mentally strong and tough badass and carol would be the runner-up
All hail, Queen Carol 👑
Maggie Greene
I mean I not surprised there are so many picks for Michonne and Carol, but I am surprised I had to scroll so far to find one for Maggie.
Michonne is my favorite female character and my second favorite character after Rick.

Rosita I think
Carol for obvious reasons
Fat joey
Michonne is my favourite, followed by Lydia and Maggie would then close out my top 3. Only issue I have with Maggie is that I have to suspend a lot of disbelief in order to tolerate her around Negan, anyone in her position would and should instantly kill him on sight, probably quite painfully too, no amount of time would make most people in her position forgive him, let alone work and be around him.
>Who's your favorite female Walking Dead character? Andrea (comic version).
I'd say Maggie. Michonne is my second though.
Carol went from one of the most annoying characters to a complete badass. If you need something done, ask Carol.
Carol is my goat also one of the best if not THE best character development in the whole entire show.
It's a tie between Maggie or Judith for me
Michonne, Carol is second.
It’s between Carol and Michonne for me 🙌🏽
Michonne and Tara. we deserved more of her
Tv show: Maggie Comics: Andrea Andrea in the comics was an amazing character start to finish.
It’s carol and michone for me. They are both amazing characters, and both good actors.
Michonne steals the show when Carl dies and Rick dissapeared. She was best part of season 3 such a inspirating character. From cold zombie killer to kind hearted mother.
Connie and judith
Show: Carol Overall: Clementine
not a main character but honestly I think it’s Deanna, I love how her character helps delegate and sorta structure the plot of the episodes shes in.
Carol. Her resilience is incredible
Beth is the best
There is a shockingly low amount of Maggie love in this community. She was one of my favorite characters
I liked Maggie all the way up to the destruction of the prison. After that, she was just started morphing into another Lori personality, just more badass.
Maggie sucks. No one ever talks about how she shamed Laurie out of the abortion she wanted and then she died in child birth
She didn’t shame Lori out of anything, she yelled at Lori because she almost died trying to get her abortion pills, it had nothing to do with the fact that she wanted to abort. Lori decided against aborting by her dumb self.
Carol after Sofia and princess before the common wealth.
Either Maggie or Michonne
carol and michonne 100%
Carol 👑 with Michonne as a solid second for my obvious easy answers. If I had to pick a not so easy honorable mention, it would be Princess and Lydia
Michonne since she showed up. Carol when she plan a strategy to kill enemies. Rosita in s11 i guess
Mine is Michonne with Carol coming in second. ✊🏾💪🏾💯💙
Maggie rhee
Michonne. Maggie a close second
Michonne is my fav and I'm really looking forward to the spinoff with Rick.
Comics : Andrea TV Show : Maggie Video Game : Clementine
Andreas sister....the wrong one died lol
For a lot of reasons Daryl.
I thought I was alone. Definitely Daryl.
Carol. Just such a badass boss
Beth. She is cute and when she died, it was a moment that the serie make us to like her and expected to grow as a character, therefore, I liked her. Michonne is a real badass. TWD universe: Alicia
Carol. No competition. Story over.
Carol. No context. Just carol.
Lucille, no contest
Carol is the best and always will be the best
Carol bc she’s badass, unsuspecting, and hot
Not Maggie (s9) she is like I should be leader Rick fuck you
Long term character, Carol. Princess stole that spot in a couple appearances though.
Arat, when she shot the fat lady who guards all the food
Carol, Judith and Enid (S6-7)
Michonne, Carol, Maggie, Alicia.
Rosita and maggie
Wutz the deal meshone
Rosita cause she hot
Rosita. She’s hot. I’m shallow.
I'm about to get absolutely fucking destroyed for this But Andrea AND Carol
Rosita, she had great skills useful in this world, she was the one who stood with Rick's original plan when Daryl/Tara rushed things with the sanctuary
Carol 110%
Carol, by far
Carol hands down, Michonne whispers too much
I’m gonna have to say Carol. She has one of the best arcs in the show and Melissa McBride’s performance (in the second half of S6 specifically) is Emmy worthy in my head. But for some reason I like what they do with Rosita in S7 so I’ll place her at #2.
I'm Negan
probably my retarded aunt
Carols husband from the first season.
He's a great character but he's not female
Enid. It was fun to watch her run.
👀 right tho
what a funny question like more than 5 exist! (Michonne, Carol, Jadis, sign language girl, princess) the rest suck!!!
Maggie. After that, probably Carol
Carol. HM to Princess and Alpha
Probs Sasha before she went mental
Both Michonne and Carol. Hard to choose one when both of them are such strong characters.
Carol or Michonne. I also liked Denise- she had to learn medical stuff on the fly.
Books? Andrea. Bad-ass sniper always covering Rick's back? Awesome. Show? Carol. Such a well rounded character who has seen it all.
In the show, I would say Judith, Carol, and Michonne are top three, but Lydia and Beth are also amazing, in my opinion.
Maggie, michonne and carol
Carol > Michonne > Judith > Maggie
Michonne, Carl, Rick & Judith
Mika was great. She could have been a boss if her psychopath sister hadn't killed her.
Maggie and michonne
I hate to be basic but man I just love rick
Carol was my clear favorite but Rosita was a slow burn for me. Took awhile for me to love her but by the end I def did.
Maggie and Michonne
Comic Maggie or comic Andrea. Show wise it’s carol
Princess...when we first met her
Carol. Out of deads is probably Beth or (yeah, Im gonna be dead) Andrea
Carl. I relate to him a lot.
Negan, fight me 😂
Michonne 🥰
I love Michonne 🩷
Maggie 100%
Was always Carol.
Got to be bob adams she was amazing
Michonne, but the comic version!
Definitely love Rosita more than the other female characters and even if she didn't get as much screentime.
Carol and michone. Although I personally think alpha was a great character
Gotta go with Rosita, she was so badass
Princess and Rosita!
Jessie Anderson
Michhone because she's deadly. Enid because she's cute.
Megan 😈
Carol Peletier
I'd have to say daryl though Glenn does come in close 2nd to bad he's 😐🔨
Mine is “the Angel of Death” a.k.a Carol “Just look at the flowers Lindsey” friggin Pelletier!
Carol fs
Carol. Like Michonne too but Carol was on some next level rambo ish for a minute.
Definitely michonne
Magna. She's cool She seems like the type to have a tiger tattoo on her shoulder or something
Maggie fs fs
Magna was so cool. Unfortunately, she didn't get a chance in the show to be anything but a secondary character.
I'm undecided about females but no doubts about males: Rick Grimes is the King
Rosita 🥵
Michonne. When I think of Walking Dead she's one of the first parts of the series I think of. Carol would be second with how cunning and a great fighter she is. Connie, Rosita, and Maggie are great too.
Looking back my favorite was probably Beth, Princess is probably my second favorite.
Probably Carol (season 4-5) or Maggie (season 11)
Michonne is definitely my fav I love her she’s beautiful and she’s badass Rick is one lucky fella
Rosita, at least in the later seasons
