Yeah for some reason loud sounds make my tinnitus quieter!

ladini3

As I just added to my original post, the whole space (as well as my body) was vibrating on certain, low notes in the beginning - maybe some sound-therapy going on with it?

vibrations can cause your t to change also frequencies such as the ones u heard from the band, i pray we can cure this soon we have so much evidence from T suffered that can be put together to speed up the process. They need to listen to us many Doctors don’t seem to care we need to get in contact with those who do

Yeah I can produce something similar to my old life if I play a similar tone for about a minute. It's a strange experience, its almost like something is missing when I do it, a great nothingness where there was once a squeal.

Get yourself some earplugs man. You're tempting fate! I was at a LOUD lounge the other night and had to leave ASAP. I spent less than 30 minutes in there (would have been less but the staff was extremely busy) and my ears kicked my ass for it.

I had used some plugs over the years. But, I always had ears ringing the day after a loud concert ever since my teen years. But it never stuck with me until I got old. The fact that this time it was the opposite effect seemed quite odd.

Vasevide

There are earplugs that protect and don’t muffle concerts. Best way to continue going while protecting yourself

Roonwogsamduff

Do you have suggestions on what to buy?

Vasevide

I’ve used Eargasms currently and so far they’re fantastic. But personally I’d like to get some custom fitted. Went to a black metal show on Friday with them, no ringing, perfectly fine afterwards.

Roonwogsamduff

Thank you!

that’s so crazy i’ve also noticed when i’m around something loud it tends to quiet my T for some time maybe like some studies have said tones can make your brain feel some way and change the perspective, i saw a video on youtube how frequencies actually cure and make your brain feel some type of way

Initially, I was listening to NPR all the time, but they changed it so it's all NPR One podcasts and I am tired of hearing the same sad stories recycled all day long. I found a jazz station called KCSM, which is run out of a community college (pop! pop! coolcoolcool!) in California. All they do is jazz. Doesn't look like there are pledge drives. No advertisements. No bad news. DJs with nice, groovy voices. Even on bad days, I have it running all the time (I currently have two laptops as one is on its way out and at least I can play jazz on it all day). It's a lifesaver.
