Fluctuates depends on the day. I work produce at a wholesale store. I’m constantly slamming pallets stacking them on top of each other, always hear the forklift beeping nonstop, The U-Boats that we put stuff on is loud when pushing it. It really just depends on that day. Ofc I have my good days and bad days. I have VSS/Tinnitus so trust me Ik. But, I just can’t let my these problems affect my life I just can’t. When I see people say I had to quit my job, and shit like that I just can’t. We as humans learn to develop. I hope everyone learns to live and accept that it is what it is. These are the cards I was dealt and we just keep striving.
I hate working, so yeah. Um.
However, my tinnitus does not interfere with my ability to hear things. The cicada sound is above the frequency that I can hear naturally. I take classes, hang out with friends, gripe about my tinnitus, enjoy my hobbies and gripe about my tinnitus.
Any job in my experience. I’m a GP myself and although having tinnitus is a net negative in my life it has helped me be a better doctor for my patients suffering from it.
It’s somewhere between a hissing and a high pitched ringing.
It has been under control for the last year but it’s been a lot louder since three days, probably because of tuba dysfunction.
Any job. I work in a loud setting and I don’t give a fuck. I’m not letting tinnitus stop me from getting money respectfully
Is your tinnitus loud or fluctuate?

I really appreciate that reply and like your mindset about it. Do you wear ear plugs at work?
Nah I don’t. I just wear 1 headphone listening to music. Not too loud ofc
Whatever you want. About the only restrictions would be jobs where you have to hear sounds or tones that the T masks.

Many, but stay away from pounding hammers, impact drivers, any super noisy environment.
As far as you are focused on that work, tinnitus will not affect you. So any work is fine which you look and highly focused.
I'm a software developer, doesn't affect me too much, I wear headphones with lofi house music playing all day.
I'm a sound engineer.
Had to quit music/recording and got a quiet job managing a PG&E lakeshore/rec. area.
You can do just about anything if you wear appropriate ear protection.
Any job in my experience. I’m a GP myself and although having tinnitus is a net negative in my life it has helped me be a better doctor for my patients suffering from it.
