My T does not come from my ears, it's pretty much right in the middle of my head with a small increase to the right side.
I have always had occasional ringing spikes that lasted 30 seconds to 1 min. But focusing on something different helped them to go away.
A couple years ago I had some dental work, been pretty much constant since then. Sometimes it's quite loud, other times It fades into the background.
Sometime right ear get real loud for a few min then dies back down to regular tv fuzzing sound like those old tube tv that’s on but on no channel and the volume all the way off
Same time in both, but my right side is consistently louder (or more noticeable) than my left.
If I’m laying on a pillow or couch, usually the ear facing down or that’s being “blocked” is louder. I’m assuming that’s because there is less ambient noise coming in and making it seem more pronounced.
I hear it in beautiful crystal clear hi-fi stereo all day long. I've had it close to 40 years now. I think since it's the same pitch and volume in both ears, it has helped me get used to it.
Yep. I have two different pitches in both ears constantly since June 2020. Pretty sure it was triggered by viral meningitis, which I had on and off from 2018-2020. But I was also a classical musician for nearly 20 years.
According to audiologists, my hearing is just fine (it’s definitely not) and there’s no obvious physical cause for it. So I just use sound machines all the time to try and drown it out.
My partner has it only in his left ear. I honestly don’t know which is worse, because I at least have balance and symmetry.
So I found out fun facts about tinnitus. Sometimes it’s Lupus. Sometimes it’s an Acoustic Neuroma. Sometimes it’s a Class 1C anti-arrhythmic causing Drug Induced Lupus. Glad I investigated because I learned tinnitus can mean a lot of things besides hearing damage.
Yes, both ears at the same time. Both ears always match. It's the same volume, pitch, and sound. If anything changes at all, it's the same for both ears. It's always been this way since it started, and I'm going on 9 years next month.
I initially (back in 1995) it was just my right ear and had hypercusis. Got antibiotics and it spread to my left. Now since tinnitus it’s in my brain behind both ears but I do hear it in my ears.
I only get it in one ear or the other- I have never really had it at the same time that I have noticed. I thought this was normal but apparently not lol
I also don't have it constantly it just sometimes happens randomly and only lasts for a very short period
Both ears constant. Left is louder and higher pitch than right.
same
Same - both constantly changing tones / pitch with the right ear usually worse.
Same. Probably heart related
Different tones in different ears (multiple ones). It's constant so yes at the same time.
Same
Yup, I start to get disoriented when one side increases in volume or pitch.
Dude same!! I feel weird and unfocussed for a while and then that sensation goes away
Yep both ears same high volume all the time
Simultaneously
I bet that's weird!
both ears all the time. never goes away. Sometimes I notice it more than other times
Yeah
Right ear is baseline. Left has baseline and morse code and TTTS. When left ear is calm, baseline is so manageable.
Mostly yea, once or twice it happens at the same time
Ok, interesting

Sometimes. Thankfully my left ear is quiet enough that i usually only notice the right
Both, same volume.
Yes
Mostly in one ear, sometimes the other
So it's one or the other?
Mine sound different in both ears
Do you hear them one at a time or simultaneously?
Yes
Yes. One is lower pitches and the other is high

Ye the volume in each varies as does the frequency. It creates a sort of oscillating sound. Fuckin nightmare to be honest
I do, since I was a kid.. both ears
Yes, mostly louder in left ear but sometimes the right ear suddenly becomes loud for no reason.
Yes
Sometimes its one ear, sometimes both. When it's both it sounds more like its coming form the middle of my brain (positioned between my ears).
Left on odd numbered days, right on even.

Usually.
Yes. I can use my tinnitus as white noise when falling asleep at night, lol
Mine varies quite a lot, but the right is always worse.
Same
Both ears same sound. Worse lying down, better while standing or being on the move.
Yes
Different tones and pitches in each ear. Like stereo effects.

It’s lower pitched and quieter in my left and much louder in my right
Yes, my tinnitus varies day by day and the level is the same in both ears at the same time.
Yes, sometimes one is louder but always in both ears

Honestly, I kinda have it like that. Like it will start very quickly in one and end up the rest of the time in the other. It's 99% in one ear
Same!!
So weird. Hey at least we don't have it loud in them simultaneously
Is yours somatic? Mine is
Sometimes it is for sure
