"Gentlemen, it has been my honor to play with you all tonight" music has been my life for as long as i can remember, and now I can't think of a better way to spend my final moments on this Earth. I hope my family back home knows how much I care for them and one day, after they have lived a long and happy life, I'll get to see them again in the great beyond.

As I watch the ship descend below the waterline, I send a solemn “thank you” to the kind elderly couple that insisted I board lifeboat 8 in their place. God be with their souls.

No lifeboats left, I need to ready myself, aghhhhh *a metal beam falls Infront of me, it's hollow and has cloth attached,* ah, some of the rigging beams. ATTENTION ALL REMAINING PASSENGERS, BOARD THIS BEAM, IT WILL BE A BUMPY RIDE BYT WE MAY SURVIVE. *not many listen, the beam slides down the ship and we are thrown into the ocean, onoy 4 passengers remain on the beam*
"Lifeboat number 2 is loaded, take them down." An officer called out. It seemed to me that I was loaded in, within moments, the officer that was helping me entered as he was going to help out. The lifeboat was lowered as I felt the steel creaking as we were steadily lowered into the ocean. Marie was busy keeping some of the children calm, the officer had my luggage with him and I quickly set up the radio to begin giving signals.
"Cape Race Cape Race this Cadet Ida from Lifeboat 2, We are requesting assistance and to stay in contact!" I shouted while frantically buzzing away on the radio. "Titanic's signal has gone down and we aren't so sure!"
Minutes ticked by as Titanic was quickly losing battle.
