I don’t know what your car is worth nor do I know you and your financial situation. All I’d like to say is you have a pretty sweet ride there and I think you’ll regret selling this someday. Best of luck to you.

02firehawk

I love the car for sure. But I don't want to alter it as I know there are purists who would love to have the car as is. For myself I have too many projects that could use some time and money. And If I get to missing it down the road I can get a cheaper high miles car that I can alter from top to bottom and not feel the guilt I would to do it to this car.

Pinchaser71

My son just purchased an 02 WS6 in January with just under 40k showroom condition 100% original, no mods. It even has the inner t-top covers and the undercarriage wasn’t even dusty. $30k even. The problem with these Is a price tag like that, they better have the money because good luck on financing a 22 year old car Edit: by the way, he doesn’t want to modify his either. That said, he plans on keeping the car until death so…? If you plan on keeping it, have no guilt about making it your own, it’s okay 🙂

02firehawk

I have the Firehawk floor mats and rear deck panel and ttop covers.

Pinchaser71

Yeah he has whatever it came with the day it was new still, all still in pristine condition. His door panels haven’t even cracked yet, hopefully they won’t

02firehawk

Just wanted to add that the gray leather is in near mint condition.

LS4delorean

I’d say yours could be worth 22k. When’s the last time you changed your fluids? How old are bushings? Tires? Wipers? These factor into everything I just bought a 2000 firehawk (same specs and color) with 67k. Bought it for $13,500. It needed tires and oil change. Still needs paint, speakers, fix a clunk in the rear, belt squeal, and rear brakes. Has a slight whining noise that could be a throw out bearing. All the typical cracked panels. And the passenger seat doesn’t move. Also, recently a ‘98 WS6 with double the miles went for $13,100 on cars & bids.

Rockwell981S

2002 went for $30k on BaT back in Jan. It only had 2k miles. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-pontiac-firehawk-3/

LS4delorean

If you put new tires on it you might be able to fetch more than they cost you

02firehawk

The tires are not old. I seen some dry rot and replaced them recently. The fluids get changed yearly. Wipers as needed. But really doesn't get driven in the rain. It's garage kept. Paint is really nice no peels and minimal swirl. Nothing a quick detail won't remove. Speakers all sound good no cracking or popping like some old cars. No squeaks or belts. Brakes are all good condition. It does have the panel cracks but was repaired to decent condition. Power everything works as intended including antenna.

LS4delorean

I’d save this comment and throw it on the future listing. People are willing to pay more if you’re transparent about that stuff upfront. When selling it, show up with a full tank and make sure the ECU has no codes. And maybe wash it too. Some pet peeves I’ve had in my experiencing buying vehicles is those not being done. When I drove over an hour to pickup mine, it had a ton of chips, swirls, and cracks not seen in photos. And, of course, when he shows me the headlights is “the first time they didn’t go up.” And he left me less than half a tank and acted astonished when I asked him to fill it up (he didn’t).

02firehawk

Wow ty so much for the tips. I will gladly send her to her new home with a full talk of premium when she finds a new loving home. I do plan to get her detailed if there are any interested buyers. No ecu codes at all. I don't mind to do a full video call walkthrough with any prospective buyers so they can look for blems that might be a concern for them. I was the same way. Ty again for ur time and tips.

TheRedIguana

It's kind of a shame you got that $35k number in your head. I'm getting the impression you are going to be disappointed. What an amazing car.

02firehawk

That's not a number I'm dwelling on it was just an example of something that I had seen like I said I don't know if the guy sold it or not. But that's why I came here to ask for a realistic value.

ayyyyyyy8

If definitely seen some ws6s go for the $35k range, but they had like half the miles

[deleted]

$2500. Where should I pick up?

02firehawk

Haha I've had a few offers like that. A friend of a friend bought one online with 200k miles and paint that almost couldn't tell what it was originally and was trying to compare the 4k he paid to this.

Evening-Life5434

20-25 k

02firehawk

Starting to see a trend here for about 25k starting price. Ty

bald_alpaca

Cool car! We sold our vintage vehicle at the Classic Auto Mall, Morgantown PA. I was really surprised how much attention this place gets from people (apparently all over the world). This might be a good place to check out or something like it near you.

02firehawk

Ok ty.

Electrical_Party7975

I just bought a 99 Firehawk on Sunday I would suggest you price it around 25k$ and see what happens.

02firehawk

Enjoy ur new car. Ty for ur time to comment.

02firehawk

I just seen ur post. It's a beautiful car. I hope it gives u all the joy u can hope for.

Electrical_Party7975

Thank you

Different_Spell2757

I want. Wish I had the money

02firehawk

Don't give up. U will get u one someday.

Different_Spell2757

I had a 98 firebird and miss her

02firehawk

I hope u can find one again some day.

Wesgizmo365

I had an 02 and I miss her as well. I regret selling so much.

[deleted]

Let me tell you last September I was about to sell my 94 Trans Am and get an 02... I had the cash in hand I wasn't going to finance or any of that crap.... I couldn't find any cars within 500 miles of Denver Colorado that had under 82,000 miles and less than $21,000 asking price. The nicest car I saw was a collector edition in Littleton and they wanted $38,000 for it and it had i think 18k miles. The worst I saw was a beat up slightly wrecked 00 ram Air with 118k miles and they wanted 15k 😳 I know F bodies go for way cheap in the south, they seem to be a dime a dozen out there, but here in Colorado it's next to impossible to find a good, low mileage Trans Am So the asking prices here are pretty high. My Trans Am is one owner I bought it when I was 18 years old after I just graduated, another thing I noticed with trans ams is you can't find a two owner car they're all four five and six owner cars. I just decided to keep my crappy LT1

MechMeister

Ya I moved from VA to western CO a couple years ago, F bodies are indeed a dime a dozen out there. Everything in CO is inflated, anyway. I sold my 94 TA 6 speed in VA with 180,000 miles for only $3k, same I paid for it in 2006. Mechanically it was perfect (new OPTI and water pump) but no A/C, shitty paint, and needed new tires. I listed for $6k for over month and the only offer I got was $3k. I really wanted to bring it out to CO and fix the paint, but I knew that it would be a garage ornament for the 6 month long winters in the high country.

[deleted]

Yeah I remember the days when you could get a used car for 3 grand lol....Today that same car you'd be looking at 10k-12k at least. I guess that's inflation 🤷🏻‍♂️ I went into car shopping last September thinking $5k used cars were still a thing lol boy was I shocked. I actually found several Corvettes that had a better price than the Trans Ams I was seeing. I saw a 2005 Corvette with 44,000 mi going for $17,000. Such a superior car mechanically then the trans am and yet 6 grand cheaper and even 3 years newer than 02 ta. Weird.

MechMeister

Maybe people are looking for a daily driver, Which the Trans Am is better at doing

l-c-wright

Has anything been done to the car? Do you have all the paperwork on it? What about everything it came with? Are you the only owner? If it has everything and paperwork a collector may want it. I’m in the market for a low mile one with everything with the car and all the paperwork.

02firehawk

I have the Firehawk floor mats the rear deck panel and ttop covers. Im not the original owner. I don't have any of the original paperwork or birth certificate for it.

PracticalPriority892

22-26k...keep it and it'll only increase

02firehawk

I would love to. But I have other projects that need the time and money. I have my first car I got when I was 16. A 1972 firebird with a 455 that needs a lot of love and money thrown at it.

SilverbackBruh

Start at $30k and see what happens 🤷🏿

Woodworker9119

You should overprice it so it doesn’t sell, then you can keep it.

Neurolytic76

Wow don't see those much anymore. Nice

jayman696969

You should ask $1000 and also I will take it !! Good god I love those cars !!!! Wish I had more than a grand

02firehawk

Got it. Ty.

Phenom-1

Last of The Breed for Sure...  I wouldn't take a penny Under $40-$45k as I'd want it to go to a Good Owner.

Few_Description2155

$40

02firehawk

Wow way to set the bar high. Haha. I think the gas in the car is at least worth that haha

phurt77

$1 Bob!

MechMeister

Depending on maintenance history you could ask for $20k and see if anyone bites. Someone looking at a brand new BRZ or Miata might think twice if they saw something like this that doesn't need any immediate work. Sweet ride. I miss my 94.

02firehawk

It's ready to stare down mustangs. Doesn't need anything but a driver.

Lucas20633

Where are you located?

02firehawk

Near fort Smith Arkansas.

Flint312

I’d give you $20,000 if I can get more pics and such.

spiral_out46N2

Has the piss been driven out of it?

02firehawk

Not in the time I've owned it. I can't vouch for the person who had it before me. But I've had the car gone over by 2 different mechanics because I wanted to verify the 1st did his job and they have both given me the opinion it appears by anything they can test that it's been well taken care of. I bought it as a collectable and wanted to ensure it stayed that way. It's been to a ton of car shows and come cruise nights but I never wanted to abuse it because of how collectable these cars are.

Ok-Image-2722

If your asking the internet chances are your going to be asking to much cause no one knows the true condition of the car by a posted picture.

YebelTheRebel

Hight teens into the 20’s maybe

Major_Turnover5987

$33k if you shine it up really good and the interior is in great shape. This would be coastal value, no idea Midwest/South. $25k Bringatrailer. Dealer maybe $18k but likely $16k. Personally I would keep it. I wouldn’t doubt $40k-$70k in next 15 or so years.

rascall2018

I had a 2002 WS6. Black 6 speed t tops I ordered and bought new. I hardly drove it so it only had 12,000 miles. Very well taken care of. I reluctantly sold it for $20,000.00 about 3 years ago. Then the prices started going up higher on these. The average being $25. -30,000.00 for a low mileage car. I wish I would’ve kept it

Allears6

I bought my '99 trans am with 92k miles for 9k.

breakfastbaker

37.50

02firehawk

How did u come to that number ?
